In my younger days,I would go digging with some right headers....I once watched a proper prick of a man,swing a young terrier around by it's couples and kill it against a tree for refusing to enter an earth...first and last time I ever entertained that sort again...I'd happily take the top of your head off,and put you in the backfill....most of the shit,you come out with,should stay in your head pal...I don't know you from Adam,but I do know,I would never walk the land with you..

you can't compare a terrier ,working it's quarry under ground... to a lurcher on a fox above, completely different animals.. I've seen plenty of decent single-handed dogs on the lamp,not want to entertain travelling a tube to draw what's in the stop end... every dog, no matter it's size will have a natural hate of foxes....it's how you introduce them,and bring it out of them....you don't want a daft dog lol...you want a spiteful dog

@TOMOget him something with band clamps....so he's not having to whip them on with elastic...that way then he can flip between flats and tubes till he finds what suits him -
