    I agree with the moped theory myself Mel my lads 16 in December and he will be getting a little 50 cc for on the road... should help bring his car insurance down a bit when he turns 17...my brothers boy is 18 ,just passed,no experience and paying 6k with a black box...f***ing ridiculous

    My old Nana was still driving at 86 before she passed...to this day I've never known a female to throw a car about like she could,drive anything mate,I still remember her taking me to school in the snow late 80's ,she had a white 130 Sri cavillier,drive it with snow chains on the front wheels...f***ing Legend

    Just out of interest,I looked how much I would get for the wife's 67 plate Octavia vrs estate with a company called motorway...I payed 21 k for it at 2 years old with 11,000 on the clock...it's just done 70,000 ,all main dealer stamped etc....and I've been offered almost 12 k for it,which surprised me tbh... certain models like estates/shooting brakes seem to hold their money better than the saloons etc

    only ever owned the 1 brand-new car....lost loads on it,so now I buy them a few yrs old...always keep on top of em,servicing etc and been fortunate to always get my money back...

    Same with me mate ,if they don't smoke it,I don't pull it out in company...these days I just have one before bed..I go out with lads/keepers..who can quite easily sink a litre bottle of Jura,on a nights lamping, driving on permission or a day out on the banjo.. been told off for it a few times...after dropping the one lad off home...made it as far as the defender on the drive...curled up underneath it kipping flat out ...Mrs going nuts.... everyone I know, personally who smokes the puff,is switched right on,don't want for f**k all,and keep themselves squeaky clean...they don't go around brag
