  1. She didn't mention the exact places mate ...tbh With the state of the water quality and fish stocks last few seasons....cant see them being welcomed with open arms ...they should only be introduced to wilderness areas imo...not somewhere as busy and tourist wise,as the Wye/Seven corridor
  2. Always liked that shrouded /bull barrel look...Swapped mine for something else I fancied at the time....big mistake...cost double what they did these days for a shiny new one

  6. Had the night at the local carp pond with my eldest....woke up and rods, reels, alarms was under a foot of water spring fed from the mountain..water was flying out the inlet all night...pond level must of rose 2 ft at least

  10. mine are in an old 3.5m x 2 m dogrun, used 14 mm marine ply at the front of the mesh, stop them getting out,the door into it,is split,so you step over into it, plenty of places for them to sleep, lay about and not overheat....also important theres no draughts or driving rain can get in
  11. Thinking back, the Oeg bantam hens where that light wheaton colour...the cockerels were mad little things lol...show them a Shamo cock.... and they would want a scratch the 1 we called Kenny, was a right character....even try and smash up the bull xs Google Image Result for https://live.staticflickr.com/3182/2282070675_53035384ff_b.jpg IMAGES.APP.GOO.GL

  13. You in Oz or NZ mate? And dont be sorry for contributing
  14. I had 30 odd OEG Bantams in my allotment at one time...let them out in the morning...they be gone far and wide sit up in the trees like f***ing wood pigeons...perch above head height at night in the sheds ...only time I ever lost any was rats taking a few trom under the mothers in their first 2 weeks after hatching

  16. Second bowl of spag boll....
  17. So when the rubber seals are on the downpipes and 90's leading into the combined pipe...where does any smell or gasses travel? Up and out above the gutters....works the same way as the soil stack thats 400 mm behind where I tapped in..got a mate just like you...would argue the colour of shit
  18. Its only taking rain water from 2 down pipes off the roof mate....you can put little rubber seals ,where the downpipe goes into the 90...I would only use a trap/back inlet gully for sink waste going into a foul line on new sites, where you have 2 separate lines, foul and rainwater..the clay is combined....so the 2 extra off the roof make sure...f**k all smelly hangs about brother
  19. One thing that sort of work does....is it wears you out if your a grafter....Im a few yrs behind you...but every winter , I'm feeling it more couldn't keep up with spending all weekend digging to my dogs in the season and punching my gutts out Monday to Friday too... family, work and bills had to come first... Fair play taking on full custody of your daughter, not every Man is capable of doing that
