  1. You are ok my friend. Nothing meant. No blue or red corners. Just banter. Jok.
  2. Not entirely sure where you are coming from but I know this is a friendly kind of place so I'll assume you meant that comment in the nicest possible way. I can only say that it takes a lot of time and effort to make something nice. Would you kindly put some pics up of anything nice you have made of late. Rust or no rust. Jok.
  3. Don't disagree about being a farmer then ffs. Lighten up mate, you know what I was getting at. I bet your 35 year old knives are """.......... Well not sharp. Lol. Jok.
  4. Oh Fleur of Scotland, When will we see , The likes again? Hang in there Auld Enemy we're coming to get you. Jok.
  5. Brambles. You must be a farmer. Everything you use just leave it lying where you last used it. Lol. The rain will do the rest. Lol. Know what pal ? If you look after a knife or any tool and have respect then rust just doesn't happen. Sorry mate but that comment was not called for. Jok.
  6. And sent them homeward ta think again. .jok
  7. Absolute pleasure. I imagine a lot of guys on here think the same thing but just haven't got round to applauding you. Keep up the good work. Jok.
  8. Reaper6 from Swadlincote. I've an idea where Griff is coming from. I've just finished a thumbstick for a good friend. It took a lot of time and effort to produce a 'one off'. Also I've made ferret and terrier boxes which are arguably overpriced. All I can say is come to the workshop and take the time to see what goes into making something unique. I've just been gifted a really nice Roe antler to make into something special. At the same time I've bought some rare coins to set in the horn, Country related. It takes time and money. I live in Moira. Jok.
  9. Spsurfer. Know what? You have also mastered the art of presenting your knives to great effect. The last few pics really do send a message out about quality. Bit like showing a new cartridge with a Purdey Shotgun. Absolutely magic my friend. Jok.
  10. Socks. TBH Never gave that a thought. I doubt you are serious lol. Looking forward to tomorrow. Jok.
  11. Griff. Just answered my own question pal. Thought that hot blower had something to do with if. Paint stripper. The other gadget is the wallpaper stripper. Happy days. Jok.
  12. Socks. Just in time to do yourself some damage after Saturday. LOL. Jok.
  13. Out of curiosity Griff, have you tried any type of bending or straightening antler? Was going to try steam but would direct heat work? Jok.
  14. Bad news then Born Hunter. My brother in law flies racing pigeons. He spotted what he thought was a Goss and went to investigate. 57 leg rings. He asked me if the keeper could have a butchers. Outcome Unknown ATM. Location not a hundred yards from Twycross Zoo. MMMM.JOK.
  15. Also FAO Griff. Stockpot sent me a nice double thumbstick with an Irish punt with the leaping salmon. My turn to do some bending I reckon. Jok.
  16. If I may piggy back the thread. Saw today, a female goshawk without Jess's. (Don't know how you say or spell it). Sitting good as gold and brazen. Didn't give me a second look. Jok.
  17. Don't suppose you live in them Templer Knight caves they just found . Hiho. Just fancied a look round. Lol. Jok.
  18. Just watched this and am stunned. I mean stunned. The bollock wants FCKG locking up. That is unforgivable. Strangely the the rider went to steady her mount whilst her mate lay on the road. I think I know where my priorities would be. As a motorcyclist I know a little about these knobheads. They don't give a flying fck.bstrds. Jok.
  19. Why oh why are Templer Knights creating that kind of shrine, and in Shropshire. As a keen follower it's a bit of a mystery. There must be more to this story as has not been discovered for that length of time. Inscriptions, artefacts, bones or something to give us a clue. Also makes me think about the cave system in Alphganistan hewn through solid rock. Quite amazing really. Jok.
  20. Years ago we used a plastic Eagle Owl. It was flipping massive but it did the job. I'll bet there's alternatives nowadays. Jok.
  21. Should have read well known family. Haha. Jok.
  22. Yes mate. I spent a lot of happy days there with uncles, aunts and cousins. My dad was from Morpeth and it was a big well honey family. Jok.
  23. Ponteeeeland. Land of leek growers and racing pigeons lol. Tis a grand place. Jok.
  24. Now that's the kind of positive thinking I enjoy. Totally agree but have to say that if the Auld Enemy wake up early enough this could be a barnstormer. Bet the Ref plays a big part though. Hope he's on it. Jok.
