Doubt it. The market is flooded with houses for sale and there are hardly any buyers. How is that ? Plenty of people coming into the country ?! Are all the native French selling up and going elsewhere ? There is a big change in the type of houses French people want to live in. The old French houses remain empty when the old folk die or go into care homes. Their families don't want to live in the old house and prefer newer builds. Also there are less English buyers compared to sellers. A lot of Brits who came here in there 50's and 60's ten or fifteen years ago are looking to sell up

Getting better. I'm putting a suspended ceiling in the basement and whenever I have to put the drill batteries on charge I nip out and plink. The super glued strimmer line in front of the front sight took a bit of getting used to. It is translucent yellow, almost fluorescent and it sits just below the target level with the top of the back sight. The windage sight has been sorted and now the majority of pellets are grouping nicely around 2cm horizontally and half that vertically. The odd flyers are down to me, not the pistol. I picked up a tin of RWS Match pellets yesterday and I've no comp -

Spot on, if it was an Italian or German performing like Rooney in the last 2 games everyone would be pissing right up their back, but Rooney gets stick. I read a National Geographic article about 7 years ago that said basically the same thing; the next world wars will be about water. Turkey building dams that restrict flow downstream into other countries and the like. So 93 years would be about right

Have you noticed they favour those of the ginger fraternity? I think it is discrimination against non gingers! Back to the footy. Lalana seems to play better for England than his club. He's been great the last two matches. For me though the star of the show is Walker. He's like two players in one. Back in defence he's sound as a pound then up front he's like an extra winger and always willing to take players on.

I think that Sterling has had his chance and blown it. His absence also gives Rose more space to overlap. But who to put in his place? Rashford looks class on the ball, Sturridge has staked his claim and Vardy is not only fast enough to push the opposition's back four five yards deeper but is a great poacher too. I'd like to see Kane and Vardy on the pitch at the start with either Sturridge or Rashford coming on if necessary. The only downside was Rooney's totally unnecessary foul that lead to Bale's goal. Hart will take the blame but Rooney lost it again and for me was the most at fault.

WD40 to the rescue. A quick squirt has freed the sight. It doesn't move with the screw but at least I can manually adjust the windage to suit. In practice once I've got it set to suit me I can't see my needing to adjust it again for 10 metre shooting. -

It would appear that the smaller cross headed screw on the left is the securing screw and the larger flat head screw on the right is the adjustment. But when I loosen the securing screw the sight doesn't move when I turn the other screw. And I can't move it by hand. -

I'm with Dekers on this one. I was really disappointed with the Richter scope I bought about 7 or 8 years ago. Ended up buying a different scope and letting the Richter go on a rifle I was selling.

Progressing slowly. I'm managing to get around 70% of the shots in a tight group. The odd flyers are down to my technique and lack of consistency, usually with the trigger finger position. That will get better with practice. Initially the groups were around 3cm high and 1cm to the left. There is no further vertical adjustment downwards on the back sight and so I followed a tip I found online and added height to the front sight. The recommendation was for 2mm to be added, but my reasoning is if you add more you can always adjust the rear sight up to fine tune the range. As a temporary fix I -
When you start out walk a little way then turn back and go to the car. If he doesn't follow or is playing silly beggers continue past the car and keep walking. Only when he has re-joined you do you turn back and go wherever you are intending walking to. On the way back, don't go straight to the car, but walk past it and continue on until he rejoins you, keep walking a bit longer then turn back to the car. Not a fan of Abu multis , I've had 5501 , 6501 c3s and 6601 c4s and I've got a 5601 jb edition and they are a bit agricultural compared to even a basic 301-401 size shimano corvalus. I do like their closed face feels though and would have them over the daiwa versions any day . Fairplay, I've never been lucky enough to use a Shimano multi, they looked the dog's b's.
