Not a patch on the Crosman 1077

It was only a couple of weeks ago you were slagging Carroll off, saying he shouldn't play for England cause he got booked. You talk some crud aye. That was before he realised that two-thirds of the England squad had been booked that month. Defoe's been and went. He's had his chance and is unlikely to perform better now than then. Carroll could be an option, but Kane & Vardy complement each other so well and Rashford is in it for the experience just like Walcott was taken to the World cup while still in nappies. Shame Drinkwater isn't going, but England's midfield is quite go

Going on that and your wife's conversation with them it would appear that they have also had to interpret the laws to be able to give an answer. If I get a similar response I will ask them to confirm that the brown rat comes under the same policy of not being part of the PdC legislation. Taking the issue one step further. If you had an air rifle that exceeded 20 Joules you would have to notify the authorities. Subject to approval you could keep that rifle at home. I'm thinking that under the circumstances of rats being outside the PdC regulations then you could use a + 20 Joule rifle to sh

I believe they are -- rattus norvegicus. The ones I shoot are huge. That's a size 11 boot... Their young are often darker, and the adults can be greyish. https:/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_rat The Black Rat, rattus rattus, is normally much smaller and usually black, although colour variations exist. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_rat Looks like you'd need a Mk. 4 Fenn for that one.

Each rifle wil The actual weights may vary dependent on the density of the wood in the stock. But in reality both rifles are so close in weight that it would not matter. Certainly not enough to warrant discounting one or the other IMO. However, they have a different point of balance and so the shooter might think that one or the other is heavier when in fact it is the balance not the weight that gives that effect. On power; they are virtually the same rifle. So given that both have the same spring, cylinder, etc it would be a pretty good trick for Air Arms to de-tune the Pro Spor

This is what I use............... Put a piece of electrician's tape on the cable tie and you can see at a distance if it has gone off. Setting the trap is just a matter of pulling the strap until it clicks. If you superglue an 8mm halibut pellet in the cup, smear the pellet in chocolate spread and also smear a few traces of chocolate around the entrance to the tunnels you can kill three or four rats without having to re-bait the trap. Just pull the strap to empty the trap. Simples

My Dutch neighbour is still getting a few with my air rifle. In the meantime another neighbour has told me that they have rat problems in the chicken run. Seems that there is a vast increase in the rat population this year. I put a break-back trap out in a box, baited with a chocolate spread / cod liver oil paste and have taken two rats in two nights. My other old traps are at my Dutch neighbours and I don't want to use any more of my new stock on non-paid jobs so I'm just down to the one across the road and two that are permanently set outside my house. The break-back traps are a doddle

Not quite. From the Air Arms website: TX200 Mk. III comes in at 4.2kg whilst the Pro Sport is 4.1Kg. Quoting from the same page: "The Pro sport is the next step up from the TX200 ........." Their words not mine http://www.air-arms.co.uk/target/1708-choosing-an-air-rifle-target-shooting

Yes, you are right. Black is the new brown Sorry for the confusion.

I don't really care what you think. As I've said; your opinions are just that and perfectly acceptable. But when you start to try and justify your opinion by using some uncorroborated 'expert' opinion then I'll choose not to believe it. Some will favour one, and other will favour the other. That is human nature. And it also depends on what you want the gun for and your personal preferences. To say that one of these guns or the other is recommended for hunting is nonsense unless you are specific about what you are hunting and how. And even then different people will have different preferences.

I only smile if I'm quick enough to catch it

Penile disfunction. Aint that you hardon? Ive got kids son that are adults now. So whos scrapping the barrel? He's so obsessed with dissing anyone who doesn't worship his football club that he will invent issues to try and undermine them. Take the West Ham fans nicking some souvenirs from an old ground that was being closed down and comparing them to Millwall fans wrecking their current ground out of frustration. He cannot see the difference and so chimes in with his double standard bollox. Then there is an adult Sunderland player grooming a young girl for sex and he thinks it is

Just getting the footage has been a real difficult thing....I've just managed to get a great Fenn Rabbit catch on camera but it took me a year! Everything seems to go wrong, there's leaves blowing, mice running, the batterys get drained ands then the frigging cam misses the actualk catch and yet picks up a slug moving! I toio have little technical know-how and splicing trail cam clips and gopro clips together has been a real brain strain...it took me 5 hours just to gte a still images spliced into the moving images.... ..it's drove me up the wall, but I've learned a little bit and things hav

Still waiting for the ONCFS to reply to my e-mail. Brown rats (rattus rattus) are called rat de grenier in France and tree rats eleswhere. They are sleeker in shape, quite cute really, and a lighter chestnut brown in colour. The ones under chicken huts are more likely to be the black rat (rattus norvegicus). They are more grey-brown in colour. Best of luck with the hunting of them. Just remember that traps work 24/7 not just when you are there so I'd consider them as a second line of attack. As for poisons; there are new regulations that have put the better, more efficient poisons out of t

I have already replied and don't need to add anything else unless you can find an official statement from Air Arms to support what you originally posted:

That's a newspaper allegation from his ex-partner. Not a conviction for child abuse and not in this country. Put this into perspective - he was 15 at the time and still living in Sengal where that sort of thing is common place and legal. Whereas Adam Johnson was an adult, living with a common-law wife in this country when he groomed an under aged girl. Different thing altogether. Cisse might not be an angel, but he isn't guilty of child abuse as had been alleged.

I thought that you'd been quiet lately. That video editing certainly runs away with your time.

Nah! nowhere for the dogs and it would be a pig to get out of a field.

You know what I'm waiting on. A link to show me that a current Newcastle player has been convicted of child abuse like your boy aj did. They only reason I ask is because iv never even heard a whisper, and I think your just trying to spread shit as you just can't help yourself, your hatred runs deep fella, that sort of nonesence should be left back in the 80s. Out of all the North East fans, your by far the worst for being stuck in the pre historic ages.. If there was any evidence he'd have posted it by now. If it was all over the net even a retard like him would have been able to fin

Can't speak for the 4x4 ability. But we've had an Octavia II estate for over four years and can recommend the accommodation aspect. Huge boot, plenty of leg room and a nice car to drive. The only real problem we have had is water ingress to the EMU in really bad downpours. They are prone to the drainage from the windscreen area blocking up. Every so often you will need to take off the front inner wheel arch covers and de-crud them to allow water to escape and not build up and flood the EMU.

This spring has been absolutely dire. We've barely had a dry week and it is currently persisting it down and forecast to continue for at least the next four days. As a result of the mild, wet conditions that have dominated since the last frosts in early March the moles have run riot. I'm inundated with rain and moling jobs! And rats! It seems that the country is suffering a rat population explosion. My neighbours who have chickens counted 16 rats at the feed bowl the other evening. I've loaned them four traps and my air rifle and I've got another two traps across the road in another neighbour'
