That's the law if you did anything to him even though I probably would you would be in prison straight and this is why hunting is band we sometimes forget marching through London peacefully leaving antis in the waterloo cup to demonstrate they shouldn't have even been allowed on the ground doing things by the book didn't work if we had done things differently maybe we could still hunt as normal you respect farmer's who respect you and work with them as for a clown with a gun shooting dogs for no need hee needs sorting notice he didn't phone police no he didn't give a dam and just shot hounds
-
And the father or grandfather were once paid members they obviously got something against the hunt politics probably maybe raynardman would enlighten us
-
Neil what would you do if your terrier bolted a fox and took pursuit but ran through ground with no permission which could easily happen and get shot would you phone the police or send us darling up there grow a pair for god sake there is no justice for what that farmer but he should be played at their own game amazes me men in the game that hasn't a pair of balls and say they do things by book at all times u r a joke
-
Carry on boys hounds can run 7 8 9 10 miles away and still get to guys farm you won't stop them every time and the pack would probably be only 5 miles away 15 times of the year big worry throughout the season there we are they not my dogs and I need not worry where I hunt alway never a thought of that and by the way it's probably a personal thing with farmer and hunt and the farmer is laughing you f***ing clowns
-
And there again he probably done it knowing what he was dealing with a bunch of cowards
-
Neil to the book in this case I don't is the way forward for one he can shoot a dog by pulling the trigger there probably wasn't a sheep in sight they a law to their own some of these inbred farmers in West Wales he pulled the trigger on the gun didn't care about laws so they should strike a match not worried about laws slash tyres not worried about laws and as for who collects his livestock who cares just make sure he has plenty of it after a few track greyhounds have been released there he'll know what sheep worrying is then and then
-
Hard work on ur own especially with hounds if one hound picked up bad habit it wouldn't take long for the rest to start the trend so that's when a good set of knowledgeable eyes from the outside comes in very useful also a terriers life could easily be lost with one man trying to do two jobs with a sharp pack of hounds too close looking in that's why there's huntsmen and terrier men
-
He got more to lose than two hounds so someone should grow a pair and visit his farm one wet windy night and show him what he had to lose and he will think then before the gun comes out next time
-
Mr plumber breeding solely for one reason money why breed pups you haven't a cause for your self no wonder they not for honest lads to work once they bred just for money the working ability is lost and the buyer very eager to get his 250 back sad state of affairs
-
It makes u think about life a bit all youngsters and living people really should live life to the full cause were only here once all the best marshman happy hunting and rest in peace ur digging friend
-
All dogs breathing breath should be well looked after in my eyes that being a good kennel is essential and heating when needed I wouldn't use heating very often though only on the days and nights they need it usually after a hard day

If the red mist didn't come down and they didn't have selective earing they wouldn't be terriers -

Dog made contact and came out if they going to be any good at that age they stay or you can wait till they 3 years old like some. under them circumstances 18 month old dog got to be doing more it funny how people want to have praise but don't like the truth.
-
Ur not forcing them to do anything if they didn't like it I'm sure they would tell mam and she wouldn't make them go. And as for real tree I'm not a big fan of it. It's like all the gear no idea when I see someone with the full outfit on with not a spec of mud on them I think I would rather see tracksuit bottoms and trainers at least most wearing them don't think their gods gift
-
I think ur pissing in the wind with them Lee and I'm not trying to be clever just what I would be thinking if they were my own I believe once you was advised on the chocolate teapot once but didn't agree what was said so don't get the hump
-

foxbolter replied to Matthew Phillips's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
Go to a farm near to you and ask him to jab dog with penicillin and tell him u will help him dip sheep or whatever -
Some young dogs( pups) just need something to make them click and sometimes leaving them on lead listening and watching will make them more determined when the time comes. if a child sees his friends playing football on the field but he is in classroom where will the child want to be
-
It's all about playing mind games with the dog pabs perhaps you won't understand
-
Pitty you couldn't find a dictionary pabs it would come in really useful for you

Nick Valentine (Ryeford Chase) Phone Number?
foxbolter replied to krawnden's topic in Hunting With Hounds
It must have been very boring back then every day a good one and hunt with no bad scent. did they ever hunt the rugged hills of Wales like around snowdonia with strep awkward walls to take on or around the many areas of the double fences we have today and did they they ever hunt around great langdale Cumbria and did they have the climate change of today to deal with and the rifle men of today also I could go on and on with many excuses off huntsmen which I agree some packs are bad but I won't bore you anymore . Take my hat off to nick and his hound and nothing against him buy sometimes peop -
I was only telling what I think about the age and as for the dogs feet I don't know what they are like he only mentioned knocked toe that is not always caused by bad feet
