  2. Lovely looking pup dawn b Never had a border but been ratting with a few lately...good I Used to be a mole man on the scottish borders and a farmer near otterburn who was also hunt terrier an for the border hunt had done crackers :-)

  7. At last, found a barn owl hunting, the light was crap and they were a bit too far away, so hoping to bet better ones in the very near future..

Unusual colourations "sports" can happen in most wild birds some more than others, chaffinches are one of these species, others I've seen were blackbirds, jackdaws, hooded crows, a white moorhen and many others Always interesting to see This can also happen breeding birds in captivity and when it does we can capatalise on it and start new colours, remember all budgerigars in the wild are green, look at the colours now In the wild however they usually live a seaon or two then disappear

  12. Seen a few pied and unusual coloured chaffies in the wild over the years and have managed to get a few images of some of them
  13. Bred British for many years but never reed buntings, always finches for me But what nice birds and I always loved finding one of their nests when I was kid, lovely egg Done well to breed them

  15. Great stuff when you're young!! Bet you wouldn't do it now though Yip your right matie, there comes a time in everyones life when things we used to do with ease become sad impossibilities.. But, at least Ive experienced it And how refreshing it is to see others like these guys that are doing the business

  19. Mine always went in the boot when we went out, that's why I liked a vauxhall viva as a poaching wagon could get four dogs in the boot
