    Nice one, Might have to have myself a look up Gosforth Park There's a hide there but you have to be a member a member of the natural history society of Northumbria at the Hancock museum to get the key If I see anything local I will let you know

    Thanks guys Zandy, some of these are from Gosforth park, Clara vale and far pastures I've have a perch on the Blyth up the Hapney woods but the kingy isn't using it a lot at the minute

    Aye, a bit sun on their backs makes all the difference, Ive seen them coming in on dull days and they can look almost black in the distance

    One of my favourite birds to photography is the kingfisher, and hopefully next week I will have a chance of some more, heres a few Ive taken..hope you like them.

    Siskins are semi domesticated and will usually breed with other stuff, and I've had goldie cocks that would ride your finger when you put your hand in their cage A fairly easy cross to produce
