    good to here your having a holiday here mate, you will love it, you wont want to go back home, i couldn't point you in the right direction for Vancouver but i would expect its the same as most places you just buy a fishing licence and pretty much fish anywhere, if you go to a cabella's store you can pick up a fishing guide as to where the lakes/rivers are, and what your allowed to fish for, the guys there will tell you what to use as bait/lure,they are really friendly people, even drew me a map to help, i fished Vancouver island BC, Yellowknife NWT, (obviously different licences), in BC renti
