Not that I agree with free entry but I'd be more concerned in case any of them visited Stonehenge and then decided to move in. A few large tarps across the ringing stones and happy days.

I commute into Newcastle from south of the Tyne most week days, but I'm not a Mackem, deviating my route depending on volume of traffic and the latest road works, and have noticed this. Along the roads into Gateshead a none white face was a rarity, now it is 50/50 or so. Only in the last 2 year, but constantly increases. Kids, God bless them, standing at bus shelters off to school tend to be none white. Passing schools when parents are escorting their kids, most in traditional dress from various countries. Many of the white people I see on the commute back appear to be those sorts with addicti

Preaching to the choir here but no British government is going to attempt to fix that which we know is broken, but worse, this lot are going to fix things that are not broken. The political elite, and fair play to them they did the graft to get into positions of power, just regard us as ignorant children that lack the intellect to know what is good for us and so they make the decisions for the betterment of us all. I think that is the basic ethos of the EU, and we are once again under the control of that political elite now more so than ever. Hey ho, off to France/Spain/Italy/Canada we go

Hinnie was in common use in conversations or greetings when I was growing up. Did it originally come from a word for a female donkey? Heard gallowa used not long ago in a slightly surreal setting. Meeting up with an old friend and hunting partner for a pint and when I got there he was sitting deep in conversation with a beautiful African American girl. Turns out she was a friend of my nephew and an equine vet, they had met at RVC. My mate and this young lady shared an interest in all things horsey and it was odd to see her fascinated by his tales and knowledge of gallowa's, as he was calling t

Got the text today from a friend who sorts me out with this sort of thing. Thought "here we go"... but read the text, tickets for the Cult at Newcastle City Hall in October, do you want them? Bollocks, but wanted the tickets. Must try harder.

You're mam living vicariously through yourself, or trying to? Best intentions with your sister but dealt with in the wrong way? Fishing, shooting and out and about in nature though, it has kept a lot of us sane and still does.

A glass half full or a glass half empty? Not really bothered... I've got another bottle. RIP Sean Lock.

I really enjoyed watching Jack Grealish playing tonight. Not liked so much since he joined Man City just stuck on the wing reduced to trying win free kicks. Watched the game with a Villa friend who said that tonight that was more of his position at Villa. No need for anyone else on the left wing anyway other than the superb Anthony Gordon. Still a little ring rusty after the summer but what a player man. Love the kid.

We did manage to land Sir Ranulph Fiennes 1 year who agreed to do a talk for far less than his labour norms. It was genuine charity stuff, for 2 good causes. John Parret was good 1 year, Andre Agassi died a death, Nookie Bear was hands down the best, far better than Roger De Courcey.

1 of them's from Whitley Bay, can't remember which and obviously not their real names. My brother in law used to try and tap him (not in a SAS way obviously) every year when he was doing fund raising sportsman's dinners but his fees were extortionate

The vandalised painting, I suppose it is still street art? Possibly more honest than the work of the original artist? If you paint on walls rather than canvas only to be expected. I'm sure "B(W)anksy" doesn't mind

It does really depend on what you want to catch, where it is, and how you want to catch it? Collies and terriers will catch almost everything. If you want it done more quickly get a whippet or a greyhound.

A gallon of 4 star? With price of petrol these days it would have been cheaper to get her whacked.

Not a bad prediction even if I do say so myself. OK, if you were to be pedantic Isak did not get his hat trick but only because he didn't score 3 goals, Gordon did not score but how was I to know that he would be played on the right? What I meant was the left winger would score a goal, in this instance Harvey Barnes. Osula did not score but in my defence he didn't get on the pitch. And Spurs only conceded 1 goal, I was convinced BDB was going to score 2 own goals. Looking forward to the England game on Saturday, a chance for Gordon to show the country what a pillock Southgate was in the

I was impressed by Liam at the One Love Manchester concert when he dedicated Live for Ever to those people killed in the Manchester terror attack. The only person who mentioned the "elephant in the room".

No pictures but... people walking a large spitz type dog and a wire haired dachshund this morning. As always I spotted them way before they spotted me and before they got too close shouted out do you mind putting your dogs on a lead, mine in is a cantankerous old swine? They put the big dog on the lead. Thank you for that. As we passed their little dog, only about 11" TTS but a nice type and at least 18lb, maybe more, quickly got aggressive and made a move on my 14 year old terrier, who was a lead. No harm done, I saw it coming and flicked it off with the side of my boot. It got back to -

Once the hype and panic buying dies down there will be tickets available. Just try not to worry, you'll see them (some day), in 2025.

I had never really heard about these dogs until recently but as a keen amateur cynologist I have done a little research. Bill Sykes invented the EBT in 1964. He sold the litter wastage that had no chance of winning Crufts to the Americans in America. The Americans crossed the poor quality EBT's with pointers and created the APBT. Mike Reid imported APBT's into England in 1984. He sold a bitch to his milkman, Ernie. Ernie delivered milk to Diane Abbott. To Diane's eye that APBT was the most perfect of dogs and she purchased it from Ernie and put her Great Dane, Scooby Do, over the bit

I'm not educated on politics, never had much interest, but have no problem with Sir John. He generated work and development in the region. Saved NUFC from oblivion as a hobby. End of politics from me. 5- 2 Sunday. Isak 1st hat trick, Gordon 1, William Osula 1 for his 1st goal in EPL to take the roof off!

Don't go dragging me into it. I just think Almiron has has his day and Murphy is not consistent enough. That Jenrick doesn't even look like a footballer IMO.

Eddie should have been more specific when he asked for someone on the right at St. James'.
