Yeah mate. Thats it, Ive loaded up an old setting. Its all fine now. Sorted 7.46 @ 40 now. Ive thinking about this most the afternoon.
-
Yeah man, thought that but then the 97 is kicking out substantially more and drops well low. I should of noted the pellets. BC of the pellets is: 100: 8.40grn AA Fields 4.52 @ 0.0210 97: 16.00grn AA Fields 5.52 @ 0.0310 And interestingly... HM: 13.3grn JSB Exacts 5.10 @ 0.1280

And no I dont mean to start ANOTHER calibre war, more pointing that I cant believe how much poke the .20 'low powered' pellet delivers.

As some know, my PCP's have fluctuated some what recently, so I had a gander at the numbers on ChairGun. My HM on cold days is doing 10.34ft/lbs down from 11.4, but the pellet in .20 at 40 yards is still offering 9.5ft/lbs to the target. Which surprised me, I suppose I dont do enough 'tech' research to be honest. So I worked with the other rifles. The 177 drops surprisingly more at 40 yards... from 10.8ft/lbs to 6.76ft/lbs. And the .22 97 even though its up'd to 11.8 for the purposes of this experiment is dropping more again to 8.7ft/lbs. I rebuilt it with a washer. I would of thought

Ill await to see what your photon goes on for then...
-
Hmmm. I doubt you'll sell an Ultra for 800 beans mate. I know your adding more to the sale, such as your photon, bottle, but the main item is in fact the Ultra. You might be better doing a split on all the items.

I saw this too, epic shot with that 100. Bet he's wank with a springer though
-
My HM is down a touch too, to 10.4, still bangin on the door of 9ft/lbs of retained energy at 40 yards though, which I struggle to believe, but it's what chair gun informs me.

Anyone else notice there PCP's drop a tad during winter? For example, my 100. It hasn't been used in a little while, just sat, so I dropped it over the crono today and noticed it's down on power. Same everything, pellets and so on. It was @ 11.1, now its down to 10.6, 12 shots into a full tank. Its not something Im worried about at all. Happy with it whatever, but the general thought is its down to the weather. So, yeah, thought Id put it out there.

Saw this on the gaybook. Nice. That cricket looks well kitted with its Legend on top.

Worth every penny to be honest. In fact, that setup if probably worth more. -
Looks super. Need a mini beech stock or something What kind of accuracy is it for? I assume in inch at 20 yards?
-
Bang a image of the catcher up when it's done lad... Never owned a rat catcher. Shot one, once and shot a rabbit from about 15 yards. Years ago now.
-
Do it. I like um too. They do have that rapid look... made for a purpose I would say.
-
Ner. No pod just yet. I dont know why... maybe just not me. The sticks however have been investigated... There were some used by Matt Manning on the 'tube. Expensive though, but I liked the look of them.

Now that is a serious length garden Mitch, I have to make do with my cottage garden at 15mt although I do have fields over my garden wall and when the horses are elsewhere it is not so bad. There is a new indoor range at Doncaster which is open until 10pm and has a 45mt range which is not too far for you. https://www.(!64.56:886/doncasterairgunrange/?fref=ts Phil Its not in my garden , but a very good mate owns a farm and he has told me i can use the old sheds and shoot on the 1300 acres of fields My garden range is only 40 yards "My garden range is only 40 yards" f**

Malcolm Barnard. Well. Whatever happened to him. Chose fanny over his airguns.... Ha. Puff. Wish I'd of won his scorpion custom job though.
-
Now now. An Air King. Hmmmm. Well. That would be a treat. Might suit you too, in twenty two, naturally. Get stuffed all this new shit... Let's go back to what made the industry. Webley tracker anyone

Ahh dear. Tell us why my man, why he should of got a 100? Are they any good? For someone with such a rifle and indeed an optic from 'back in the day' in their signature... It's a bit of a bleak statement. No offence meant of course. It's like your 'recommending' the 100... Too pianoman?! Pah.

Rez replied to random's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Do you mention the rifle? Those pellets may not perform like that in others. H&N couldn't get tighter. -
