  1. Cheers lads. Dave. It's done in the states mate, something I spec'd up as part of the order. It's well done, so good in fact that i have no idea how it was applied. Think it's tape to be honest rather than a wrap.
  2. Getting bored of your consistent success against the hardest quarry. Makes me sick. Can't keep up.
  3. Dont worry Mark, not a scratch on ya 100... and we all know it
  4. Having checked the weather forecast for Lincoln two days ago, I noticed it would be sunny this morning, up until mid day and obviously the bank holiday so no 'official' work. Having just got this sodding new place, Ive been whipped into various jobs and such and booked a few hours off this morning with the mrs to have a bash at some rabbits I thought might be out in the early hours as the sun came up. I set off at 6.30am, just after the sun rise, and after a massive 12 minute drive... arrived at one of my permissions. There was not "that" much about, it was cold, with heavy due over
  5. Id second th epost above, getting the sod in was a mission. Its uber strong those gas rams... almost industrial.
  6. A hobby. A passtime. A god damn journey. A job [Not in the literal sense] Its a good question... basically, we go out to kill stuff as a hobby, while enjoying being out in the field.
  7. You still suffering from the beer?! Check your 30 and 35 figures again on Both. F'kinel Dekker... you actually read Marks posts...
  8. I remembered a post on the rapid forums... just something I thought you might be interested in. This is obviously referencing the Theoben rammers mind. http://rapid7ownersclub.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=40009
  9. A actual gas ram? Or a new rifle? After a re read of your OP a gas ram you mean Yeah keep us informed.
  10. Very sharp and very fast. Thats about it. I had a Fenman Mk1, all be it in .177 and my god it was a world away from my springers. Basically you go back to the drawing board with your shooting technique. Saying that, you get a gas ram for that something different, and they indeed are, but once mastered, as accurate as the coil internal cousins. Id have another at the drop of a hat, a Sirocco or another Fenman, but most defiantly in .22 this time.
  11. This is just a thought mind Muttly but is your safe any where near a rad in you home or is the room you have it in warm just asking as the heat of the room may affect the rifle as we all no weather affect's the rifles and it may be just that its the change in temperature thats affecting the zero atvbmac  That is what i said bollocks to Fair enough mate. But many will see this and disagree. No issues with the comment, I just think we would.
  12. more like what you have said So what we've both said then... We both give advice thats similar. You in a bad mood today?
  13. Could you potentially take it back to the RFD if its only a month old? Assuming its brand spank. Just a little cronbo jobby will do to show you any shift if you do get your own crony. All the best with it. It is annoying when things like this happen. They play on your mind somewhat. Just aim lower when you get it out the slip
  14. What is? What we've both said... or what you said?
  15. Lies would it. F'k me, if it was DS the man had we'd of all been on it like flies round shit. I do say I could be wrong and I do mention the crono... so youve just said what I said
  16. Have your crono'd it at the time its shooting high and then at the time it's zeroed? I personally dont think its the scope at all, but could be wrong of course. Your not using a mixed up pellet batch are you? Even the tins of the same brand do need re zero'ing. Im surprised no ones replied more to be fair, but lets be honest, the HW100 among this lot could rape a load of women and still be a saint. Whereas if you had a Daystate, it'd be seconds before someone was on this thread bangin on about how shit they are.
  17. What about a PCP with an infinite shot count? It's uses some sort of smart arse device that pulls air in, cleans and compresses it each time the rifle is cocked... I'll just sit back and watch the cash flow in
  18. Going on from what pianoman was saying. I think the recipe has been cracked somewhat for the PCP market. There's loads of small manufacturers cropping up from the Eastern block, Poland, Netherlands etc mainly bangin out bull pups and such but there cracking little rifles. After all the internals and idea of how a PCP works is kinda simple. We may see a shift in loyalties in the future, as HW and AA are really only repackaging models of a by gone era. Good ones mind, don't get me wrong. We, as shooters, will want more in the future. Whatever that is, god knows. Air rifles have almost gone
  19. Yeah, all the best with that one... I assume your after a rapid...? Things we do for the old theobens.
  20. I know it's not loaded...... But it makes me in easy your about to shoot your partner. Super outing. Can't wait to get these chores out the way in this new place, so I can get my weekends back.
