I owned a G.S.P while back, grand bitch, brought up and worked her with a lurcher.. parteners in crime you could say. I will admit, i threw the rule book out of the window, regarding pointing. Over the years, she layed a serious amount of game on for the lurcher. Caught a fair few bit's herself too, including feather. No holding back from me..i encouraged to get involved. Hunt anything up. Certainly put a bend in a fox. Strangely, only opened up on deer. Great jumper too, not a deal slowed her down. If you're looking for a dog to turn into a patch of brambles to bolt a rabbit.. then i wouldn

I know the mining village you're talking about TOMO.. and I'll say right now, it produces a massive percent of hard fuckers for such a small place. First saw blood spilt there sunday morning footy, i was about 8, my old mans work mate's playing the local side. Fecking blood bath seriously LOL... opened my eyes! Another one that sticks in my mind.. was at a stags game talking to one of the old boys from said village.. i said, "drove passed Santon other day, windows were boarded up" he replied "they're the curtains you cnut" LOL.. Having said that... had some really nice ladies out of that vil

I'm surprised to read that, when you look at the pictures on the web site, they are quite a grainy leather which I would associate more with a harder leather. But you've got them so you know. I had exactly the same with my Mallerstangs jonah. Toes got battered in no time. When i replace these I'll be looking for a pair with a rubber 'rand' around the toes. Other than that cant fault them.

Where is that Frank?I know I've been out with the Blencathera far end of the valley on the left, hounds were away on the fell opposite side... ran one in... looked a dodgy spot! that pic was taken a top of dale head via cat bells & high spy. Cat bells is the hills starting on the right and I ended on the hills going down on the left. Kinda like a big horse shoe walk. Was 12 mile round trip, and on this day was over 30 degree. Was hard graft but worth it.Thanks for that mate, I'd got it wrong! I though that was Great Dodd at the far end on the right. Never been up cat bells or Dale head, w

I've just yesterday, bumped into a chap here in Dumfries and Galloway.. got rattling to him about his mutt. Apparently first cross GWP GREY.. it looked real nice... the business for me. About 26.5 inch... rangy. He's from Cumbria. Dog was purpose bred.. for Charlie apparently. Having owned a g.s.p. and seeing what they can do... this cross is certainly next for me...

I was a regular at Hillsborough as a young lad and he was THE man for me. Not Hursty.. Chapman... Sheridan... none of them.. not even Waddle later on. He was the business and Big Ron knew it.. that's why he took him to Villa. Awesome talent. We've all had a heads gone at some point.. trigger happy spineless fags.. what a terrible way to go. R.I.P.

Bloody hell, what a shame that is. Cheers for the info there Bell. I can't make it this year, already booked to go Scotland but just dipping my toe in this year at Dumfries and Galloway. Went to Skye last year, 500 plus miles from here, so looks like I'd better pull another big un in next year. I know they do come further south, not sure how much though. I do recall reading about one swimming up the Liffey (i think) in the 70's. Got him out in the end. Needle in a hay stack job but you can only try!!

Had a Mazda 6 brand new, few years back. It was the wifes work car and i used it for lamping. Couldn't fault it. Got a mondeo now, bigger inside. Bullet proof, mega economy, totally hasstle free motoring.... just fill her up and go. Proper work horse. Took me and family all around Europe. I'd get another tomorrow.

Just spotted this on bird forum. I only drop in there now and again but it seems there's been a fair few sighting recently and of hump backs too. I looked into it a while back and it sounds like its a pod that knocks about to and fro from Iceland. It's something I'd really like to see and not forgetting my Mrs and young girls. Young one's have got a big phobia of Basking sharks so I'd have to work on that first! so, one of nature's big ticks. Anyone on here every been lucky enough yo see them in the wild?. Any tips for getting sightings.. boat trips etc?. long shot i know...?

When we we're young and daft, one of our gang was a right twat for it. Slightest spat with someone... he'd have all sorts turning up the next day, pizzas.. Chinese.. taxis, even ready mix once!! To name a few. LOL... Not loading bullets or anything!!

What Can A Grand Buy Me?
Bush Rummager replied to Bush Rummager's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I did actually see that at the time Mac. Suppose I didn't really appreciate how good a deal it was at the time. Shame, I'm only an hour at most from Lincoln.
