    What type of hammock do you use socks? Do you prefer them to a tent or vice versa?

    Wasnt doing to bad till my dog ripped his far side back leg and needed stitches the otherday whilst at the fell so im a bit miffed but itll be ok you have to take the good with the bad. Either way theres not much to loose because mixys killed of most my perms.

    Had my sheepdogs out for a ratch with my mooching team the otherday the short arse kelpie thinks he is a runner.

    that is cool!under ground? how do you access it ?down a ladder?No nothing as elegent as that you have to get on your belly and crawl into it. Yes its underground.

    Is it underground? Ye it was theres only a hole about 20 25 inchs wide to crawl in so once i made it a bit more air tight it was snug until the wind changed direction and nearly smoked us out lol.

    I slept in a bunker/cave a couple weeks ago up in the fells thats no one knows how it was made its really hard to find but if you no what your looking for its easy it has what looks like gas pipes and taps for lamps and a fire and a chimney its worth a look if you can find it.

    Do you have any pics of the bunker from when you were a kid tomburras?

    Im not sure if its ww2 but i think it is theres one on a bit of land i know you can see it going down dunmail raise into grasmere here in the lakes it looks like a pillbox type bunker.

    Just get out in the area it was last seen there isnt much else you can do than go out and look put it up on facebook and let people know in the area they may help you look. Is it micro chipped?

    Get out and get as many as you can before there all gone mixu cleaned out most of my perms out in the start of september its gutting to say the least.

    have you cut/topped the rushes? Make sure your aloud to plough the feild before you do i dont know what the rules are in ireland but here in the england feilds can have ESA agreements that dont allow you to disturb the soil. It probaly isnt as im assuming your in a lowland area.

    Is it fairley wet ground? Im just guessing as if there is a fair bit of rush it usually is. It may need draining?

    It can cost next to nothing if your willing to make your own gear. You will get more satisfaction when you start catching in Your own nets its a great feeling.
