What do you think is the diffrence between the two when it comes to using them in a lurcher? To me from what i have seen in pure working beardies and collies there is no diffrence in working ability apart from there apperance. Would be intresting to see diffrence of opinion on the topic.

Aye it is mate, the brindle bitch is out of the same MB whippet as the blue whippet sire of your pup, mother to it was a good collie/grey x bull/grey . How is your pup doing, should be a decent size ?. Dam of yours was the little parti bitch, nimrodel blood, good little bitch in its day. He is doing well, having fun being a pup for the time being. He comes to work with me a fair bit so he's well used to diffrent sights and smells and stock. Im not sure on the hight of him as ive never measured him.

That was slightly disturbing. It always shocks me a bit looking at shows from the 60's & 70's people would be jailed now for the casual racism and domestic violence and rape humour. There was a programe on channel 4 a while ago about it. They showed a clip of a show, and the man was chasing a woman around the house basically saying he was going to rape her and when he caught her he slapped her about a bit and there was canned laughter in the background and they put it across as good humour but there was a very sinister feel to it. How times have changed.

i was thinking that the other day, when watching (one man and his dog) on country file , ok dogs still work sheep and few cattle, but most stock i thought were moved with quad bikes or off road bikes maybe the day of the herding dog coming to a end, like you say you got to go forward in time, not backwards It may be the case down in the lowlands for stockmen to move the stock with a quad/bike but up here in the fells or the highlands a dog is the only tool you have, you cant get a quad bike up most of these fells. They already are, i was walking down the street one day and a young lad who looked 7 stone wet through had a very big alsation, witch as soon as it saw me was going mental trying to get to me and he was really struggling to keep hold. So i quickly crossed the road and got out of its sight, but i dread to think if it had broken his grip and it came at me. Im pretty sure i would have come of worst if it had.

Ive got a 6 month old whippet dog pup that im putting to my bearded collie bitch in a few days i will start taking deposits soon as possible they will be cheap for as little as £600 first come first serve. Will take all game with little prey drive. -

I always find the ones with the flash cars and house are the worst for paying. A couple jobs ive done in the past ive had to make a couple return trips to badger them for my money. I eventually got it, but its hard not to get heated and tell them what you think. I usually do after ive got my money lol. -
Yes the george foreman is the best for making full english's ive got the one with the grill and hot plate on the side. Not big on sweets but i am partial to a double decker or 2.

What way do you mean mate ??? ...... The frame that you have you're tarp and hammock on. Can you assemble it in different ways, or is that the only way it goes. Hope that makes sense lol.

That would be greatfully appreciated navek im sure he would love them just drop me a pm with the details. That looks a nice setup you have there. Is it a DD hammock you use? I have a ENO double nest myself, what type of tarp is it that you have there...? You cant beat sleeping by the fire in a hammock. the hammock in the pic is just a cheap one with a dd tarp . I now have the 3m x3m camo dd tarp and the dd frontline hammock with built in bug net and use the woopie sling suspension . My dad still blames me for ruining this bitch by taking her ferreting when i was younger. Her real job was a sheepdog but she will still mark holes and if theres any scent about she isnt going to be thinking about the sheep lol She will still occasinally come for a ratch with me but shes an old dog now so mostly wanders around the yard looking for mice and rats.
