Fencing Training And Pointer Lurcher Update.

Why because I have 93 in my profile name? I could be 60 years old for all you know.Nothing like trying to stitch up a fellow dog man, All I'm saying is I don't think them raccoons would much of a match to some of the dogs bred over here, them yanks dont do it the same way as us they think having a dog that will run and find a raccoon and mess about with it until you get there is a dog worth mating from You posted a couple days ago you were 23 -

Should you have not been in school or still the twinkle in your dads eye if this was all pre ban ??? -
Yes there's osprey, I see them quite a lot.

Been releasing them up here for years. Sat tracked birds released on the east coast turn up the following day on the west coast so it could easily be a bird released from up here.., although they will have pretty obvious wing tags. Seen them on Mull before, stunning birds. What would a wing tag look like?

saw them on the telly the other day, bigger than a golden eagle and making a comeback, thing is with birds they don't always stay were they are put and travelling in a straight line covers a lot of miles quickly, we had a bearded vulture near me for about a fortnight last year, and the genaneral view was he had come from a project in Europe, you might also get some clues by looking on bird watching sites they can't wait to shout everytime they find something out of the ordinary, but I would advise you not to put the location on any of them if you don't want hundreds of them in your field I wou

While I was going round my lambing fields this morning I noticed a bird of prey sat on top of the hedge, I never thought much of it because they don't give me any hassle apart from taking the after births but I'm fine with that, it wasn't until it took flight that it really caught my eye. It was huge, a lot bigger than the BOP that I usually see, half of its wings were black with what I thought looked a lighter colour on the tail end. I googled it and the white-tailed eagle seemed to be the closest thing to what I saw, I read they had been seen near Silloth a few years ago, I'm right in the La

A fella I know works on a red deer farm and he tells me that they are just like cows when you have them in race or crush to handle them, some are well behaved and others are right tw@ts, mainly the stags, its a bit dicey when he's going to feed them in the rut.

Just go one step at a time and take some lunch.

Is that the view from your yard looking over that loch in your pics? I may have camped just up the road from your house when I was there in November if it is.

I don't know but there's a Tesco and a Lidl.

Obviously if you set it correctly. That's what I was thinking to be honest. If you think that ghost hunting stuff is bad. I watched about 10 mins of a programme a few weeks ago called. Monster hunters. About 6 red necks in the dark looking for big foot or some other monster. I've never seen so much shit in all my life lol. I've seen that show, it's ridiculous I don't know how anyone involved can take it serious. Me and the missus occasional watch it for a good laugh.

I'm starting to think he said weasel not a stoat ?

One thing I've found will collies and kelpies in there pure form is that kelpies win hands down for drive over a collie. The work ethic in my kelpies and the ones I have seen is unreal, if they haven't got something to do they will find something to do.

I had never seen it before, he said his wife will have only set 100 traps in her life and that day she got her first double and a stoat.
-
My mole man was at my farm yesterday and he told me he was trapping with his wife on the weekend and one of the traps his wife set had caught a stoat in it, at first he thought he had caught a white mole when he saw the white but when he pulled the trap there was a stoat in it. Has anyone ever heard or even caught one themselves in a trap?
