  2. Stay away from hay which has not been extracted for bedding as that can cause resp problems best to use straw or paper
  3. The refugees are still complaining after giving a much safer place to live, there not happy till they have everything they want! If they complain, send them back were they come from I say they soon settle down.
  4. I don't believe they need anymore than around 20% depending on size and breed however the source is also important, any idea what source of protein they was feeding?

  6. Bird we done a dental on a rabbit on Tuesday which cost over £250 and it was the 4th time this rabbit had bern under anaesthetic! Pushing £1000 on a RABBIT!! Explain that one.
  7. Lol i had that feeling ferreting on sunday! Wet and miserable but still went, lost my adult ferret month ago so using this years jill but shes feking useless, she wont return from the warren until she ready!! Me snd the mut stood there freezing cursing the little furry feker i was gonna cull him but instead hes being pet homed!

  9. I have a collie cross it's only 1/16th collie but fractions mean F all depends how they throw, and she's thrown more collie than 1/16.. She's a cracking dog but lacks an extra gear 23tts Best advice it'd say was what tomo said, look for a lurcher with collie in dont set ur heart on all the fraction bullshht.
  10. Good video as always trev.. I've a few permissions with fence lined hedgerows but I only work one dog, the rabbits seem to run up and down INSIDE the 2 fence lines and then bolt out the other side 9 time out of 10.. I find myself using nets more than you which is a pain in the rear! Atb

My brook my bitch out for no more than 5 runs while she was in season but I could definitely see she was having to work harder than usual however, her appetite has changed dramatically since her season, she only eats once a day now instead of twice and she fussy. Maybe she's just fully grown as she just hit 12 months

  17. That could protentially frustrate him, my bitch gets frustrated when she can smell/hear them in the hole but they not bolting! She whines and digs lol little fecker needs to not mess the nets up yet i dont want to discourage her from marking! Trainings never easy half the time your learning as much as the dog.

  19. As you say ray much easier skinned while warm but if there ferret food skin stays on, if there dog food skin comes off soon as im home so i can freeze them ??
  20. Iyd say she will definitely remember that mate but after time it should not bother her, positive reinforcement like said above and she be fine. My bitch used to fly through cover like a terrier brambles u name it then got hit by an electric fence, she was definitely weary after that but has come round and back to normal

  23. 12 months now, she stopped growing at 9 months old, just firmed up a bit, happy with her progress shes been catching steady on the lamp. last night being her best night to date ending with 11 rabbits not to many missed (Y) well chuffed and her retrieve has become excellent? after the first few nights out of not retreiving the excitement worn off and she now retreiving nice
