  1. hi mate you sure its a mossberg hmr ? i have never heard of one and im sure they only make shotgunts not rifles ?
  2. hi mate make sure it is new for that price and if it is then that is a bargain. i payed £285 for mine but that didnt include scope or mod ! so it makes me think the one you have seen is secondhand ? is it the 16 inch barrel or the longer barrel because the longer barrel ones are cheaper. with the prices of cz rifles going up abit that is a steal so even if it is secondhand snap it up asap when you have the ticket.
  3. i have one on my 22/250 for the time being and i could see the fox fine at 180 yards the other night ? but you are right its not as good under the lamp at distance compared to the bushnell elite i had. but there is a big difference in price so for the money the mtc with the scb reticial is a great buy. and on the 22lr will be perfect. as for the dust i have never seen that on mine ? i will check later but to be honest i never use the ir anyway
  4. in my 22lr cz i use the eley subs i find them very accurate in my annie hmr i find the federal and hornady ammo the best and super accurate in my 22/250 the federal ammo shoots well but so do the sako, privi, and winchester silvertips want to reload soon with 50 grain amax and 50 grain nostler bt.
  5. i have one on my cz 22lr and i think its a cracking scope. good under the lamp and the scb recticial is great for the different hold overs at range. i have shot loads of rabbits with my 22lr and this scope. and it is a cracking combo you wont be sorry mate if you get one
  6. http://www.countrymanfairs.co.uk/midland/index_midland.html here you go mate look here
  7. its at weston park mate in shropshire.
  8. you can buy them off the net as long as its from private seller.
  9. the stealths are hard to find now mate. if you do most are secondhand. i got mine new so i was lucky. the h&s stock on it is soild and has the alloy bedding block in it. ive got to have a bit tokk out to fit the jewell trigger. i got it from the usa for £120 brand new inc post. thats a big saving to the rip off prices here. i go on the forums in the usa a fair bit and if you want a tackdriver mate the savage 22/250 is the one to get and the prices here are not bad. a guy on the bbs just sold one as he had a custom 243 built and his 22/250 savage was getting consistant 1/4 to
  10. its a winchester mod 70 heavy barrel stealth. i had a bushnell 4200 elite scope on it but sold it as im after a zeiss conquest. so i have a mtc viper on it for the moment. and to be honest its very good for the money even under the lamp at 200 yards. im really pleased of the ase mod mate is awesome :gunsmilie:one i have a better picture of the fox and gun im waiting for my mate to send it me. that one was took off a phone
  11. cheers lads. the 22/250 is a wicked round the ase cqb mod really makes a difference to and tames that crack. my jewell trigger has arrived so thats to fit then get back out in the field to try some 50grain vmax homeloads.
  12. got my 1st fox with my 22/250 last night. it was on a cut barley field the fox was 177 yards according to the rangefinder. the 55grain federal softpoint slammed home and down the fox went. i had to be quick but sure on the shot as the fox wasnt in the mood to hang about. i caught him abit further back along the body then i would have liked but he did die instant here is a picture its abit of a mess !
  13. the 12 would be alot better the the 410 for doing those things you want of it.
  14. s hould be ok i think it would shoot abit lighter ones well to. give them a try
  15. hi have you made sure you keep the chamber clean as the wax off the bullets some time add to the jamming up. i use eley subs and i find they have plenty of stopping power. i have shot rabbits out to 100 yards with them and its dropped them no trouble at all. if your going to shoot fox keep the range down and go for head shot only. make sure he is side on to between the eye and ear try to avoid a head on shot as the is a fair bit of skull at the front and the shot is harder to place
  16. so it would have been clipping the silencer then if the thread was inline properly ? but didnt you shoot it with the mod off ? it wouldnt have mattered then ? if you did and it was doing it still then whoever done the screwcut in the 1st place wants a kicking
  17. the only i would check is how big the turrets are on your scopes 1st
  18. Here ya go im intrested in that mate what choke has it got on it ? is it fixed and what is the barrel lenght please and chamber size thanks
  19. speer 14 is a good manual mate to pricey for me but i would get it if i came across one cheap
  20. couple of 204's on the shooting forum mate a savage and a howa. i bet the savage is a tack driver go for it i would
  21. no rimfire makers give moa at x yards out the box unlike some centrefire makers. the cz should be grouping at leat 1/2 inch at 50 to 60 yards. i have never seen one that hasnt there soild mate. it cant be dirty barrel as 22lr runs better with a fouled barrel. it can only really be the crown has been knocked or not done to a proper standard. if they wont sort it then let be no i no some body close to you that will recrown it for you cheap and it will be a proper job to
  22. cool mate better to be save then sorry i guess. i really want a open ticket its so much more easy plus if your fairarms department are very and behind like mine is most of the time it can take a age for them to go check some land. im getting rid of my 22lr and using the money for better scope for the 22/250 so i will only have hmr and 22/250 then. i guess i will ask to see if my ticket can be open at the end of this year or next. and ask my friend i go with to write a letter for me to help back me up on it
  23. new action needs bedding in. could be the cases deker as there very thinck on the privi ammo. so what you think of the tikka then mate ? a little write up on it when you have shoot it more would be good to hear
