  3. not being funny, but you 100% sure theres rabbits home? if you see them entering and then drop in your ferret, it could be that he's not going deep enough. but usually the scent of a rabbit will get them straight in. I can tell by the way my ferret reacts if theres rabbits home or not. try checking fields at night with lamp or good torch, it will tell you where exactly the coneys are. the seasons at and end though. nothing wrong with a hob mate their steady and reliable. though get him some company, ferrets should be in company. don't give up, keep at er.

  6. the newer ones are better again, nice soft fancy grips and easy to dismantle if anything goes wrong with the ratchet (not that ive ever known any problems with them) mines get some abuse, pulling hauling and swing like feck off them. dropped from heights ect and still the finish is like new
  7. never had bother with draper expert, value for money. I still have my first set from 10years ago and its still like new. i think you can email them for exactly what you want instead of a whole set.

  9. im a townie, and find manners are like hens teeth here, smaller towns/villages ect are like a different world though, obviously theres dickheads everywhere. Most kids these days don't have a daddy to give them a good clip though

  12. cheers for the comments lads, very helpful. this year for me is going to be hard for me financially, so it may be a while before I get my hands on a stihl. i get stumps from a friend of mine which i split with a hatchet does the job but i think you could be right about the maul rake.
  13. sounds a no brainer then I have access to ALOT of wood so i'll definitely need one by the sounds of it.

  15. don't know if this is in the right place anyone have any ideas on how to chop up logs other than me having to fork out for a chainsaw? I was looking for a nine inch wood cutting disc for the grinder but f**k me their as dear as a chainsaw. Is there any other route I can take before cutting by hand? And if not what saw is best? bow saw? open to ideas lads. thanks again,

  17. if you can, get a locator mate. makes life a lot easier, and sets your mind at ease as to where your stinkers are. also cuts out wasting time. expensive but worth every penny. don't wait around for anyone, batter on yourself. take a mate/helper
