Life is not fair. Shit happens. Get over it. Its given me drive and determination to succeed. Also taught me a valuable lesson about relying on other people. I know where I want to be in 5 yrs and know what I have to do to get there. I have my own family to look after. They are my first and only priority. here here. been there, done that. totally different to ur story but same outcome. totally agree with the above. life hands you some shit at times but if you focus on that u woukd be cutting up. get up, get on, have a plan and if you do have a plan dont be afraid to chan

plenty to choose from 2-300 quid will get you a good springer. loads rave about the tx200, im a fan of the hw99. both reasonably priced but would also hold value if u wanted to sell on. pm'd aswell -
know its the wrong time to ask but on the look out for one fellas if anyone has one collecting dust pm me.

My set up had a male end on and the nitesite battery has a male end on! I have bought a coupler today but my mate was somewhat dubious about me hookin his battery up to my concoction.....and he will read this! might be too late to stop me then! haha.

U got a link treecreeper so I can have a look? Moxy, cant find somebloke? I am on phone version if that makes a difference?

Thats what I had but battery failed. Tried my set up on a different battery and it works. The cheapo chinky one lasted a couple of charges. Buy cheap buy twice kind of thinking is pushing me to the nitesite battery and pouch. I have also seen a debben one for 80quid with a pouch that goes on a belt but not sure how annoying a trailing lead will be.

Thanks for the replies fellas. It was the quality of the battery that was the issue. was after a recomendation for one that has stood the test of time. will PM somebloke moxy cheers.

Lads, know this should be in nv forum but i think this board gets more views so hopefullg a response. I did my own home brew NV. worked brill untill after about three uses the ten bob battery from china failed. What batteries do people use? A link to page would be great. I need to get a new one but want to know it is going to be reliable. I was thinking of just paying 100quid and gettin the nitesite one with pouch and charger so I knew it was good quality. any help apreciated. ry

Absolutely love the imp. I have one, standard stock though. Nice garden too fella. Have the sleepers been set in concrete or just in the ground? looking at a small retaining wall in my garden but may do the same as this, like the look of it.

Yeah I know, preperation is always my problem! Like when I get the fishing rods out for start or river season for the first over night sesh, get to the bank and realise I was meant to buy a new headtorch! Atleast it'll give me the kick up the arse to fix my NV now.

Wanted to go out for a shoot tonight to get some rabbits to feed the stinkers. had a nightmare. my battery is knackered on my home brew NV so borrowed mi mates nitesite set up. got it all charged up and ready. went to put it on gun at about ten and there was a clip missing that mounts the monitor so it all went back in the box. went back to spottin wi hand held NV and lamp on gun......end of first field f**king battery ran out on gun lamp. had 1 shot and fookin missed, rushin it because the battery was goin. I had been looking forward to getting out for a wander all day aswell. Hate it when th

Nobby I got my sgc and bought a cheap sxs basically so I had one and to have a pop on clays etc. I have been clay shooting once with it and wouldve had more chance hitting em with a hand full of pebbles! Had a go with my mates semi auto and hit 70%. It isnt the gun its something Im doing/not doing but its just not right. Im inexperienced with s/g's and have been considerin a few lessons and try a few before I buy another. a few hours tutorin at local clay hole are reasonable and sometimes they sell guns aswell so may let you have a try before ypu buy? I have a budget of about £500 in my head b

If a landowner has called then its pest control not sport so how is it pointless? Im sure the farmer would rather a dozen young uns were rid of now before they cause damage. I have some small perms that are paddocks and have been asked to go down. End of day if you dont go when called they will find someone who will then come winter you wont have any land to rely on.
