May be of interest to someone in the trade. I can get mi hands on about 125 trvs and valves for opposite side.....no they arent stolen. they were double ordered on my site and cannot be returned due to the terms of the contract. They are due to skipped. They were circa £3k to the firm who get massive (70%)discounts. I know they are worthless without a use hence the skip treatment but anyone interested? we leave site tuesday so this is a limited offer......open to offers, £500?

My hobs did seem to struggle a bit in the heat this year when in the hutch so moved it into a shaded area at backof garden.

I only put em in fo half hour on a night while Im in with em and if I think its too warm I just take them on garden instead.

Alrate fellas I have 2 hobs and 2 jills. the hobs are about 15 weeks so something near fully grown? the jills are about 10 weeks so quite a bit smaller. they are kept in seperate hutches at the minute but eventually I would have liked to keep them all together....so they could work together was the idea. when I mix then at the minute in the make shift court (greenhouse!) the larger hob just pins the jills and I think he is climbing on for a shag! he gets quite rough with them so I end up stepping in and splitting it up but he wont give up so I have to take the jills out. question is once t

mine are doing a bit of nibbling at the minute and swinging round to have a go when I pick em up. I have just been doing as others have said, offer a hand and let em bite you then shove a finger/thumb to back of throat. I was having to do it a dozen times last week each play time....tonight twice so it must be working! Im just gettin back into ferret keeping and have noticed a few phases with mine 1. small and easy to handle, soft as owt, testing if you are food type of nibbles. 2. growing on a bit and getting more energy, still pretty easy to handle, testing if you are food/toy nibbles 3.

I do like to see someone putting the effort in to try and make stuff like this. especially now its so easy to just go and buy the gear. top marks to you pal. looks like the dog got bored waiting though! haha!

I was guna go for a slabbed base and leave a half inch gap around the bottom of the wooden frame so I could jetwash out if I needed to. I have sort of been using the green house for now to let em have a run around with me in there aswell for half hour or so a night.
