Congratulations Josh Taylor. Incredible achievement, to become the undisputed world champion in what has always been a competitive weight class, and in only 18 pro fights..., amazing. Taylor is the best the UK has at the moment bar none, and one of the best ever on last night’s victory. Well done champ ???????

WBO run out of patience, and rightly ordered AJ to fight Usyk. AJ always said he wants all the belts, so the big one now looks dead in the water. Fury team are 100% to blame. Fcukin messer. Don’t care if it never happens now. Unbeaten or not, Ring or ‘linear’ champ or not, imho AJ is the best of this crop of heavyweights.

Maybe a tad harsh ? He’s not the brightest, but if you compare him to some of shite talking clowns in UK boxing, like BJS, Eubank, and a lot of other bang average fighters, he’s not that bad. He’s rightly gutted that it’s not on UK tv. When you think Eddie and Sky can sell shit like Whyte v Chisora, and Haye v Bellew on PPV, then no doubt this fight should be on here. Maybe fair to say it’s Taylor’s own fault for the choices he’s made, but like I said before, this is a big fight in world terms, and if Taylor pulls it off, it’ll be up there with some of the greatest achievements in British boxi

I believe the fight could go ahead, and hopefully it’ll be worked out. For both teams, plan B will be worth significantly less, both financially, and for the their legacies in the sport. For me, the Wilder problem is for Fury and his team to resolve. If Fury fights Wilder in July, that’s as good as ducking out. And if I was AJ, I’d forget ever getting involved with the Fury fight again. It’s a short career, and Fury has had numerous opportunities to make the fight happen, but ‘opted out’ ? of taking it. As a ‘neutral’ and a boxing fan, I’d love to see it happen, but if it doesn’t, I’ll go to m

Not the GOAT, but who cares.., this guy did things with a ball that I’d happily pay to watch. Never get tired of watching the trick where he goes outside then inside in the same stride. He’d have only done that only once against me mind ?

See AJ and Fury beefing on SM. That’ll maybe stir up a bit more interest and PPV sales to pay off Wilder. Wilder looking for Fury rematch or $20m to step aside? ? Fcuk, he wouldn’t make that money fighting Fury.., and he definitely won’t want a rematch imho. I’m an optimist, and hope the fight will go ahead. Cash wise, it’s just too big not to.

Always thought the same. Decent player, but Gascoigne never really played consistently at the top level, and probably had his best years up here. And I’m the first to admit that the Scottish league was a level below the best in the world at that time. Think the heart on sleeve persona, and the tears in ‘90 endeared him to many, as much as his talent and achievements on the park. As for George Best, imho not even in my top ten best ever, but when you hear the tribute paid to his talent by great players of his era, he must’ve been a stand out. Again though, I think the lifestyle and ‘what m

Totally agree and never understood his decision at the time.

If Josh Taylor wins this weekend it’ll be one of the greatest achievements by a British boxer ever in my opinion, certainly in recent years. But it’ll get a fraction of the attention lesser fighters would get elsewhere in the UK. It’s a tough ask but I really hope he can pull it off ?

Don’t feed those fcukers after midnight!

I like to think people are entitled to believe what they like, as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else.., no matter how bizarre. And I see this thread as the equivalent of the inane chatter spoken in pubs, all best taken with a pinch of salt. Thing is there are times when it’ll prick my interest, like when someone claims to have real evidence to prove me wrong.., but won’t actually share it ? Might as well say I was at a dinner party last week with Elvis, Lord Lucan and Jesus, and some ghosts, but I’m not telling you where, or sharing the photos I took..., oh, but I do expect you to believe it

Waste of 351 pages..., and counting. Big cats do not roam the British countryside, fact. To date, there has been zero evidence to confirm their presence. All that does exist are some animal carcasses, which ‘believers’ claim have all the hallmarks of big cat attacks, and the odd grainy image of a domestic cat. You’d need to be either gullible, or desperate, to claim these prove anything..., or more likely, simply a bit of an attention seeker. Greyman you’ve made a few claims now about concrete evidence that farmers and others have, but ‘won’t go public’. Finding a big cat in the UK would

Saw one on Tuesday this week, it was dodging hailstones. Does not a summer make indeed.

Pretty much every point I came on to make, been made in the last few posts. Never liked BJS due to the shite outside the ring.., something of the spoilt brat about him. I agree Tibbs made the right call to pull him out, but if the fight had been ‘close’ and Saunders thought he had any hope, surely he would have wanted to fight on? On the basis of these comments, I’m sure he would of ? Can’t see him asking for another crack at Canelo any time soon.

Booked up a few days at the end of next month. Thinking I might need to plan it like a military operation to ensure we get into pubs/restaurants etc. Looking forward to it though. Thought I might have a day or two either side maybe in North Yorks, or maybe Peak district. Was thinking of Go Ape at Dalby, and/or the North Yorks railway? Any suggestions for a family day out (between Norfolk and Scotia) most welcome.

One guy a professional prick, the other long overdue being taken down a peg or five. “Donchoo eva disrespect me”..., “Got your hat” ?

If you read my post, I stated that I don’t want ‘them’ here. I have no objection to the UK accepting refugees genuinely seeking political asylum.., but imho even that should be on a conditional and temporary basis, i.e should the situation in their homeland improve, then they should be safely repatriated asap. As for the overwhelming majority arriving on these shores, they have no legitimate reason to be here, and should be returned to their country of origin immediately. As for the ‘dark wave’..., in the last few years the biggest influx has been Syrians. Have the UK government done an

I always thought it was Somalians that were the problem in Tower Hamlets? Can never understand the vitriol directed at the people so desperate to get here. Given the choice of living in some war torn hell hole, or getting the fcuk out of it, I know what I would do..., so how can I condemn others for doing the same? Doesn’t mean I want them coming here though.

Good wee video, of an English fella, looks like he’s working in the US? Cool as a cucumber working at almost 250’ up a dodgy tree. He’s got my respect.., and thanks to the good old Go-pro, I’ll not have to haul myself up there to see what it’s all about ? Edited to add..., skip to about 5.00 if you just want to see him take the top of the tree off??

Never one pushed from cover or ‘treed’ by fox hounds, or shot on the lamp.., I think there must have been hundreds of thousands, maybe even millions of foxes shot over the last few decades that these big cats are supposed to have been out there. And like you say, none killed by cars? By comparison, cougars are apparently ‘elusive and seldom seen’ in California, but around 100 are reported killed on the road each year. Nowadays trail cams are a big thing, and they’ve been used to great effect in relatively small numbers to confirm presence of various big cats in countries around the world, ye

My prediction..., this guy won’t see 50.
