Sir , you are a champion .

I've always completely agreed with that Arry. Being a hunter of any kind is a pain in the ass. You're out at all hours of the day and night , in all weather conditions, but something inside makes you do it , you don't have a choice , you just have to. Sometimes you'll take a break from it , but it always pulls you back.

Sitting outside my tiny caravan in my woodland. I could spend hours just sitting there, and just looking and listening.

A very admirable post sir .
-
Is that the Notting hill carnival ?.
-
best ever post in the whole history of the Internet
-
Aha . Thankyou

I completely agree with you wilf . It's a complete and utter shitshow. It's something that's forced on all of us , by f***ing idiots , that couldn't give a rats ass about the environment. They just care about keeping their hungry snouts in the trough . The really scary thing , is that it's about to start getting much worse , and much more expensive. I don't think that it'll be too long now , before we're all being charged individually for the amount of general waste that we put in our bins . The story goes , that we'll all have weekly / fortnightly/monthly general refuse colle

What is it kanny ?. I'm guessing something to do with a sound system?

That's some good going dc

That post is exactly what the problem is wilf . You haven't got a clue whats going on . You can't blame the binmen, and in all fairness, you can't really blame the council. The council are told what they have to do by government, no ifs , no buts , they have to do it !. If they don't do it , the financial penalties are massive , and you , and every other council tax payer , has to pay them. That filters down , to the bloke that's putting ( or not putting) your bin on the back of the lorry. Would you risk your livelihood , and your pension , for some idiot that was t

Absolutely spot on dc

It's not something that happens every day mack , but it's not that uncommon either to be honest. Dealing with eejits comes with the job . When I get a new loader , I explain that most of the people that they'll interact with , will be idiots . The normal people just go about their business , with a " good morning " or " Thankyou" , and the odd person might ask questions about collection dates , and what they can and can't put into the bins. The ones that you end up getting really involved with , are the thick ones that can't grasp what waste goes into what bin , then start going mad

Did you get any nice presents mate ?. I got a new watch.
-
As soon as you say women , you know theirs gonna be trouble
-
You cant beat those old British traditions I always say mate
-
You wouldn't believe half of the health and safety shite that comes with a council job francie . Most of it is either dangerous, or makes us look like complete twats in front of the public . It's no wonder that some members of the public hate us . I f***ing well hate us some days mate .
-
I didn't know that tats. It might be something that I need to take a very good look at . It's a poxy job now , and I only tolerate the shite that comes with it because of the pension.

Fermented leeks are the best. Even after all these years they still make me puke
-
I can only agree with you on that one mc. The older I'm getting, the more I'm realising it. This government will soon be stealing my council pension , and f***ing well blowing it on green projects. The way it's going , I'll be the one eating out of f***ing dustbins.
-
It was hard graft tats , but I loved it to be honest mate. I've worked with thousands of binmen over the years , and every single one of them say it's the hardest graft they've ever done . I've always said that I've been to more binmens funerals , than I have retirement party's. Not many of the old lads lived long enough to see a pension. This was what one of my loaders walked a couple of weeks ago.

Green waste bins , and recycling bins , generally get checked for contaminated waste , because contaminated waste cost the council quite a bit to get rid of , but the general household refuse bins , don't really get checked ( in most boroughs) . In the future , you're general refuse bin will be charged by weight , and getting rid of leaves like that will probably be really expensive. A lot of folks don't realise , that when they contaminate a bin , they end up paying for it with council tax increases. I think charging twice for green waste collection is a complete and utter rip off

It's a completely different job these days tats . We used to know most residents by name , and if they were going on holiday , they'd let us know , and we'd make sure to collect their refuse from the back garden , or wherever it was . You'd take extra rubbish if they were decorating, or having a bit of a clear out. I've spent plenty of my tacho break times cutting an old person's lawn /hedge , or clearing rubbish out of their back garden because they couldn't manage it themselves, but those days are long gone unfortunately. Back in those days , a five man crew , would collect the

To be quite honest mack , when it comes to sushi , I don't know what I'm eating most of the time .
-
Sushi used to revolt me , then one day I just bought some , for no other reason than curiosity. I've absolutely loved it ever since .
