In the demijohn now for a few week's til fermentation is finished...
-
That's kind of what bothers me,these sort of people threaten to kill over the badger cull and you slap one with a sausage and it's the worst thing ever!?
-
Not read or even heard this story but the title made me smile because for once it's the meat eaters and not the tied dyed hippies shouting and shaking but no doubt it will be span on the hunting community somehow, those vegan anti types are always morally superior and experts at being the victim, sounds a bit of an internet rant but it's not just my thoughts on it

Not a bad outing and something to cook can't be bad...

Good shooting mark and these sticks clearly give you confidence and that's a massive factor in this game...
-
Unbeatable, sharing something with the kids that they are enjoying, memories that will bring a smile to your face forever, anyway before a hug breaks out that's some decent shooting she's doing and sounds as though she's not only enjoying shooting but hunting as well and every trips a lesson so the fieldcraft will be coming along as well

Sounds like a typically eventful night for you then Mac! Good night on it when if you only came home with two

And how do you know what a sore cxxk stands out like

How did you get on with your target session, did you get to test yourself and set up at all?

Always satisfying to stalk one, your skill against their instinct, nice way to spend a couple of hours, sounds like there's a few to go at as well...

Good enough groups for outside and breezy, putting those pellets where you want them is better then being able to sketch! -
Go "walk Abouts" And Know Your Quarry.

I love practising stalking and spotting and what have you when I'm out walking my dogs, being sighthounds though once they spot something they're off and so ends the practice hunt,i tend to do it at lakes as well, which swim I'd choose and where I'd bait up etc, probably a bit weird but I enjoy it... Love to see a dog working well even when it's just a mess around -
I go to a friend's golf course perm sometimes and like some of the places it offers to sit and wait, although its just fairways etc surrounded by trees theres some good spots, sounds like we have the same obvious rule, you can only be there when the golfers are not so that limits you a bit so we mainly (90% probably) lamp it,can get some good bags as well...

I had a 97 and my mate had a 200 and we shot together for years and after seeing and using these rifles side by side I don't think there's anything between them, whichever you end up with you will like, ours were both .22 and my 97 is my favourite rifle that ive owned,im still saving for a springer and these are two of my top three but like people have said, rightly so,handle them as only you can choose which you prefer,i certainly will be before I hand over any cash, although I intend to probably get both eventually!

Knew what I'd be seeing before I even i clicked on,as rez I think it was said once "standard" nice going and like the short to the point write up

Fermenting away now,in a few days it'll be in a demijohn...
-
I like it when you've enjoyed meat then have enough for a few sandwiches after,i know what you mean about the family as well mine are like that so I have to cook things how they like them but I'm happy that they try the stuff I do cook...

How did this turn out,i don't have venison a smuch as I'd like and I like the sound of this with dripping and seasoning,

Hey all given pear a go so thought I'd share the process and recipe for anyone interested, firstly you need: 2kg of pear, any variety 1kg sugar Yeast Yeast nutrient Pectolase Citric acid Then, roughly chop the pear and boil for around 20 mins, pour the juice over the sugar in primary fermenter and stir to dissolve, make up to one gallon, allow to cool to room temp then add yeast, nutrient acid and pectolase, leave for around five days before straining into demijohn with airlock, when fermentation has ended rack into clean demijohn then leave 3 months before bottling. Here's some pics

Went To Look At A Compatto And Came Out With This!
random replied to si brown's topic in General Airgun Discussion
As people know a comparison is kind of inevitable but I think this is just another rifle made to be what if is,different people like or want different things from a rifle and this may be an answer to those who don't quite like the 100? You know how it is some things just don't "feel" right, its not meant to be an affordable 100,just another offering, look at how many variations of the 400 series air arms offer... Would be nice to know what one is like though and if weihrauch should of made it totally different so as not to have it in the 100's shadow -
Well done on the invite and bagged a few but the thing that stands out to me is the rifle,nice...
-
I have to admit I honestly admire your strength of will Mac to strip them in the field every time, whether its one or twelve you prep them before leaving and it absolutely makes sense, just something I can never be arsed with, gut them and bag them is more me,then struggle with skinning later complaining about not doing it earlier, nice going and are you liki this .177 now?

Now we have an honest view on a stock restoration,no doubt harder than its made to look, especially when it's shown over time in step by step pics,by the way it looks good and no doubt worth the effort, will you be doing more and taking to other thl stocks members on?
