  6. You have to be 14 years old before you can be granted a firearms certificate and must prove to the police that you have a good reason for possessing the firearm you wish to use, ie. a rifle. You will also have to show that you have somewhere suitable to use it. However, there is no minimum age for a shotgun certificate, though you are not allowed to use a shotgun without an adult supervisor until you are 15 years old. You do not have to show that you have somewhere to use the gun or that you are a member of a shooting club. The police can only refuse to grant a certificate if they think you d
  7. worms, thin as fcuk and probably fleas judging by the ear on that black pup, disgrace, all in all.
  8. just be mindful of the gap between the bottom of the ring and the bottom of the scissors, a sausage of earth does the trick
  9. You know nothing about bows. They are not designed to kill with shock energy. Arrows can be used to take much bigger game than a thin skinned lion, eg eland, cape buffalo etc. Many of the lion bowkills I have seen on video have complete pass throughs, the heart and lungs being perforated. You cannot compare bullets and broadheads, they are two different animals. Upon a shot from a bow it is expected for the animal to run for 15-20 seconds until the blood stops the heart/lungs working and the animal falls over in a faint through loss of blood/oxygen to the brain. As in all shooting, it i
  10. easily done for a small charge
  11. only way that it will keep peace is if you used it in every country with terrorist such as Isis ,Al Qaeda,Somali pirates and every other country holding a population of f****d up government warped religion warped troubled human beings...........so 99% the world lol to put i simply, i would rather we had nukes than we didn't, you can not turn the clock back, they are here and yes no doubt someone will invent something even more horrendous in the future, but that's the way of mankind,
  12. the creation of the atomic bomb has kept the peace for the last 70 years, it cost a lot of lives but possible it has saved far more
  13. in a world where money is king, then sentiment will always come second, sad fact is there's more profit in trophy hunting than there is in tourist safaris, just like hare shoots in the this country its unpalatable to some but sustainable and affords protection to the hare, as for this crop protection malarkey, i have a mate whose business shoots over 25,000 pigeons in a three month period each year, is this crop protection of is this about making money? some lad with an air rifle shoots half a dozen pigeons a week, is this crop protection or just killing for killing sake as he will have virtu
  14. all meat is given to the local tribes for free, the skins are usually shipped to taxidermists, so more of a trophy shot animal is used than many other forms of hunting, what is killing for killings sake?? I had read the carcass was left to rot in the sun. The guy took the pelt and head. ??? Killing for killings sake? Killing something that has no need to be killed. You (not you specifically) can't call people on here hypocrites, shooting rabbits in a country that is BY LAW a rabbit clearance zone is hardly the same as someone shooting a tagged pride leader, a protected animal. Y
  15. Anyone who has ever hunted has wounded something Joe, but most of us don't use inappropriate weapons. Using a crossbow is akin to using a sub 12 on a fox, cruelty, nothing else. It was wearing a collar for a reason, it was a pride male in the prime of life, no reason to cull it, no excuses. It was lured away from a safe area so a rich bloke could try and kill it in a barbaric method just to have a trophy to hang on the wall. To me and a lot of others that is sick and twisted. Absolute bollox you obviously no fek all about the type of bow used It's the type of bow that can't kill a lion

  17. sadly everything in this world only survives if it has an economic value, money shapes the world we live in from the city to the African planes, without the protection afforded to the animals funded by hunting then most would be poached to extinction, take the white rhino, in one area the was only 100 left, then that area became a game reserve employing the same poachers as wardens and all paid for by the profit from hunters, that area now has over 1100 white rhino`s, not a perfect solution but one that works, sentiment is fine as long as your not paying for it

  20. i blame dentists for all evil in the world
  21. they normally piss everywhere, bang into things and can become snappy when they experience a full blown fit, the smell is something you will not forget, in my own experience with fits they usually get more frequent and more severe, the vets can try to control it with tablets (steroids and that) and they will give you a large tablet to shove up its rear end to bring it out of a fit, its not cheap around £400 a month and you really do have to think about whether its in the best interest of the dog or not. it may grow out of it. or it may have been stressed from the kennels but the one i know of
