the estate i was brought up on was as rough as they come back then yes it had its problems alcholisum being preverlant but other factors like unemployment ect all played a part but all in all it was a safe envioronment for for adults and kids, now its the complete opposite and this is squarely down to drugs and there cudos. as for passing the blame, the blame lies squarely at the authoritys feet.

i was a 60`s child and your spot on it was like you described, but now its different i would not like to grow up as a child in todays world, envioronment plays a large factor on how kids behave. child see,child do. so they go out on there bikes whot they see? drug dealers, gangs, violence, disrespect and then this is compounded by pier pressure when there at school or with friends. i believe that most of todays problems are caused by the cheapness and availability of drugs, drugs and the associated problems, gangs,violence,intimerdation,fear,theft etc, completly destroys communitys and fractu
