  8. i work for an ex service charity ssafa, there is already help available to any ex or serving member of our armed forces that requests it. if this charity is going onto the streets to find ex sevicemen and women in need of help then great but once that ex serviceman asks for help, then funding or mental/medical help is already available via the existing ex service charitys network. to name a few, combat stress, RBL,help for heros, RAF ben fund. The not forgotten association plus hundreds of others. all the chaity caseworker has to do is ask.

    Cows

never botherd about them untill about 6 years ago early one morning had the experiance of watching one kill an old lady whilst walking her dog there was nothing i could do by the time i got there she was dead. she was on a footpath the dog was on a lead and wasnt barking or owt as she walked by the herd this one perticular cow just chucked her in the air, nutted her around the floor then folded its front leg and fell on her. can only put it down to there being calves around. police classed it as a freak act of nature. so be carefull.

  19. ive used remmington subs for the last 6 years with no problems, the main reason been there cheap 6 years ago they were £1.85 for 50, now there £5 for 100. less than half the cost of most of the other subbies. they do the job just the same im not after match accuracy i want something thats good to about 40 yards and does the job, if i was shooting stuff alot further out than that, i wouldnt use subbies as youve only got to look at a box to see they are not going to be very accurate and with them being lead the heads can get damaged as you place in mag and cycle.
  20. worked whippits in the past a more recently the last 10 years or so lurchers, as the lad is mainly after day time rabbits then a pure whippit will be fine as would a small lurcher. its his prefferance. the last whippit i worked was a kc reg bitch called fast lady of meliden that was out of sooty sam and silkcut lady, litter date dec 1994. she was a diamond, no amount of rain botherd her. yes she did get knocked up badly but usually when she tackled quarry that was a little bit too strong for her on her own. but she would never give in.
  21. bull pat that belongs to a lad i know
  22. with whot you want it for, rabbits, small fields, rushes you will be looking for a small type with good initial speed and a good nose. possibly a three quater bred beddy whippit would come close to whot your looking for.
