  1. Personally I bloody love it when they call, though I haven't had any in over a year so I think words got out that I love to argue to toss about their version of history and morals. Shame. I had so much fun with them. No problem with anyone's religion, I work on an "each to their own, don't bother me I won't bother you ethos" but when its being shoved down my throat at 6pm in my own house. I will cite a shiteload of very differcult to argue away historical facts that debunk's pretty much anything they come at me with.
  2. lmao, this is utterly hilarious. The end one is so funny, what was he doing with his kacks down in that field??
  3. That is very true, In reality the chances of someone with a genuine disability being employed when there probably dozens and dozens of able bodied people trying for the same job is nearly zero, Doctors are the people who treat and understand peoples conditions. Even the professor who designed this test has said its flawed when used in the way ATOS are using it. Changing the names and tweaking the qualifying parameters of these benefits is just a reduction in monetary expenditure with attached spin Its not just flawed, its bloody satire. I've not control over the testing but I work wit
  4. Unfortunately in the area I work I come into contact with a few injured soldiers...most of which are also homeless.... It really makes me sad. The army is not what it used to be, those boys are no longer serving great Britain, they are serving who ever has enough money to point on a map and make them go there, whether its got anything to do with the protection of our shores or not. They are seriously treated like shit, not longer fit and able? then Fk off and crawl into a cardboard box at the back of Argos. I don't see this getting better until the Army turns round and begins to tell the G
  5. Got another one for you all. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zvw-K42HJDs A National Geographic. I Think Namal? hunting tribe. Hunting pig and all sorts primitive hunting.
  6. Banned? well that was shortlived lol
  7. This is where I think the law goes a bit mad. Just speaking as a female, when I was living alone in a house 3 years ago I had an attempted break in that was stopped by my neighbour who happened to be getting in from the pub at 3am and noticed the scrotes scoping out my house and dealt with them. If he hadn't of been there and say they had got in though, I'd of been fast asleep and god knows the what ifs. Ever since then I've wanted a dog to keep me company, a dog big enough to deter people and god forbid I had a break in and were trying to kill/rape me, big enough to bite their bloody face of
  8. Get her to her GP mate.. Good site for advice... http://www.mind.org.uk/ http://www.rcpsych.ac.uk/mentalhealthinfoforall/treatments/cbt.aspx Cronic pain can get you down - pain clinics have specialist therapists.. I would have a good chat with Gp for a starting point.. Excellent advice here too. Trip to the GP first, ask about talking therapies. Pain clinic can refer to a lot of specialist services as well that will include CBT more than likely. Charities like MIND offer voluntary stuff for free and are fantastic.
  9. I think some CBT would be better suited then, within some counselling maybe? This isn't going to help I know, but what shes going through is totally normal. When you lose some of your abilities you go through a grief cycle just as if somebody has died. This will be a difficult time for your wife as she will be feeling like part of her has died, and now very aware of all the things she took for granted as we are all guilty of. It will be about reminding her of what she can do, and working through it at her pace. In time she will accept what's happened and find a way to manage these feelings. I
  10. Should bloody destroy the owners along with it. Theres no bad dogs, just bad owners. What's the betting they had this pooch to look'ard, and left it in the garden all day and night with barely any mental stimulation or training? Not to lay down stereotypes but I've known staffs for years and they are lovely dogs unless they have a moron behind their lead. Problem is powerful dog + moron = stuff like this! That poor old man, what a horrible thing to happen.
  11. Ive been given some sound advice as a newb on here? Though I suppose as a newb I wouldn't know if I'm being told accurate info or not! lol
  12. I really enjoyed it, but then I found the beer tent first. lol
  13. Ah welldone to the youngster! Great clean shot, beautiful looking buck. Bet it could not have been better. Welldone him controlling the excitement and placing such a good shot. It is so easy to become mega excited at the prospect of a shot and fluff it up, especially on the first stalk! Welldone, steak for tea then?
  14. I use it with my clients a lot as I work in psychological services. It basically boils down to remembering not to get so caught up in the what ifs of the future or could haves of the past a remember that now is where you are. Make the most of now.
  15. Can't beat a sling, won't have an issue attaching the flat bands, just as mentioned before ensure the forks are strong enough, also I attached a piece of paracord to the handle to have around my wrist while shooting. Means if you have those powerful bands stretched right up to your nose and slip on the handle. You don't have to make a very expensive trip to the dentist.
  16. it wasnt shot though was it,it was trapped accidently Oooh I see, well accidents happen! At least theres no more egg thief!
  17. I thought it was legal to shoot problem magpies as they are listed as a pest species? (I may be wrong, but as far as I was aware if they came on your land and were causing an issue, bumping it off with a slingshot was perfectly legal?)
  18. That is the funniest thing I've seen for ages!!!! Hahahaha!
