  1. I sleep like a brick. Once gone, out like a light until the alarm forces me up. I also have the ability to sleep pretty much anywhere (Years of student /shared houses teach you that) Once in Z mode I rarely get woken up BUT I can be a right mare if I am disturbed. As my neighbour deciding to start his party at 5.45 am on a Monday found out. You'd rather open the door to a rabid rottweiler with chainsaw teeth than me on a work night after being disturbed!
  2. I have a game keeper side shooter and a couple home-made carved while out camping. Will post photos a bit later, love my slingshot dont go far without it. =)
  3. Shit!!! Where did you get my photo? (I'm on the right BAW)
  4. Good morning folks. Looking for advice on buying a "all rounder" scope mounted lamp. Will predominantly be used for rabbits/rats and other vermin control with my Xs19 Hunter. I have fairly recently got into airgunning and when I go home to visit the Forest of Dean plan to join some mates for an after dark foray on some farmers land we have permission on. As a newbie (and a very low income) I don't have hundreds to spend but could get about £90 together at the top range. The problem is I know very little about lamps for airguns and don't want to buy something so crap its of no use, or some
  5. It beggers belief.... Dirty rotten wankrag, I can't believe they have the audacity to even suggest something like that.
  6. welcome! Will be out your way next year for a few months, looking forward to seeing some of that stunning outback.

    lol Haha good one.
  8. Looks like a good shot, well done.
  9. This thread has been very helpful to me cheers for posting. I use the same airgun as you, (Though I took the moderator off as the bloody thing was fitted wrong and rattled around sending my pellets all over the shop.) Been practising with my aim, and joined a local club for better tuition and practise, but driving out into the countryside I wasn’t sure how to go about asking for permission, or discovering who owns what. I had been trying to research online however think that’s a bit impersonal, will knock on some doors and show a friendly face. Much better idea!
  10. That set up looks awesome, they'll bloody love that and be kept fit ready to work! good job.
  11. Middle aged?! Christ there was me think I was still young at 26. Though it does explain my "mid life crisis" car.
  12. Welcome to the forum, hope somebody helps you out. Been looking myself down here in Bmth but its proving hard. Not much permission about down here unfortunately. Good luck =)
  13. Pollock can be watery but I find it makes fantastic fish pie. Poach fish in milk ( I like to add chopped garlic, wild garlic at this time of year is out so use that instead) Once fish is pretty much cooked through, drain the fishy milk and use it to make a cheese sauce. (PM me if you need a good CS recipe) Shove fish + sauce in a casserole dish, add some veg (Anything really) peas, sweetcorn, spinach, few chunks of carrot or whatever you like. Top with mashed potato and bake in oven until the top is brown, add a little grated cheese and fresh parsley and bingo. fit for a king.
  14. Tuesday means gunclub, looking forward to beating my last card!!

  15. The last picture is amazing! One happy looking dog haha!
  16. Off to Tewksbury for the Bredon shooting festival, lovely day for it!

  17. Looking forward to days like these. Lovely photos looks like a good hour out.
  18. Was my first car, They are feking amazing for such a little 4x4. This thing went anywhere I wanted, and I went some random places. =D Only trouble we had with it was the electrics, but that may have just been mine being bodged as it was a second hand one.
  19. Become a cognitive behavioural therapist working with people who have unusual phobias, Nearly there....just 3 more years of study...
  20. I just shut up now and only bother with chats with those who I know hunt too. I've had enough of trying to hold a reasonable argument and people "assuming" all I want to do it take an automatic weapon to the entire British Countryside. I hunt as it fulfils a primal urge I can't ignore, I only eat what I hunt. I try to use whatever I can as I'm interested in hide curing, bone jewelry, so nothing really bar the guts gets wasted. I have a LOT more respect for the countryside than some of the people who argue with me. Tell me Im disgusting then leave all their rubbish in a bush after their "co

  22. I nearly died laughing at this one. pmsl Good old watersports hahaha! Just to add a female perspective, though we can appear complicated, its not often through lack to trying! Rather than constantly taking my classic mini to the garage for renovation work I decided to learn basic mechanics "as I go". Before you freak out I've actually had a bit of experience with this so to a degree I know what I'm doing. Enough that I'd never embarrass myself flagging some random down to change my wheel if I got a puncture. Which is exactly what happened, fine whatever jacked the mini up, everythings

  24. Stunning photos! I've Pm'ed you with a question =)
  25. Something's up. For sure. 1: Why would you tell your BF you have a bloke staying the night and he has to keep away...warning bells 2: Then tell him he's para for getting irritated at it. (I'd be f****d off if my partner invited somebody overnight, then told me to sling my hook while they were there) 3: If its innocent.......then.... what's the big deal making you avoid them? 4: I think its a tactic...she's annoyed at you and prob was paranoid that you went off with some girls during the stag do. Figured she'd make you feel how she did...However if this is true then its over already ma
