I think this is a good question. As a kid dad would take me out hunting, I think he was upset my brother had no interest at all and complained about being outside in the cold! and surprised when I on the other hand bloody loved being out with dad and the dog in any weather, shoving my face down rabbit holes. He taught me to spot pigeon outlines in the trees and rabbits/hares hiding in the grass, how to hold a rifle, bought me my first slingshot (Which I still have/love). Always seem to comment on these threads, winds me up how many dogs getting nicked there are, would be like having a friend kidnapped for me I'd want to castrate those wankrags if I caught them and it was my dog. Hope you get them back, any pics to show?

Haha Chickens are like machines, they will destroy your veg patch and they don't take long about it either. We chuck the slugs in their pen, but I remember dad leaving the door ajar one night and in the morning the chickens had helped themselves to most of the garden... Bloody hilarious us all running round trying to pen the things back in!

God I wish I could take her. =( Next year, once out of this rented flat and onto some land I will be on the lookout. Its just too soon for me to be able to do anything myself, hope somebody else can help her out. Legalities aside that fox will need dealing with now. Once its cottoned on to taking lambs it will be on the look out for more in the future. Mention to the farmer what happened and if you have the means to deal with it for him, then maybe you can go back with some permissions?

Gosh I hadn't actually seen the entire video when I first commented, this is not sport at all this is just cruelty, just rocks at it while it lay there in pain still alive and panting jesus christ these people are animals. Im not against fox dogs, but they need to be up to the job (I.e big enough, strong enough to catch and kill to get the job done quick). This was disgusting and should be off here quick, people who think there was even a shred of sport here are deluded. This was flat out cruelty to animals, those dogs could have had some bad bites themselves and that poor fox did not deserve

Personally I don't that was sporting in the slightest, that fox looked tame enough to be released by hand, and only a couple of metres in front of four dogs? Not that i mind running dogs taking foxes but I think this was pretty obviously not a challenge for any of the dogs and the fox had little chance.

I agree, antis want nothing more than people like us sniping and picking at each other and keeping to ourselves through paranoia. Divide and conquer, tried and tested. End of the day the way a certain member was treated recently was unbelievable, EVEN if it turned out they were an anti, the instant response to them being potentially female was shocking, and made anyone reading in my opinion limp hunters in with bigoted sexist pigs who were getting kicks out of harassing a women who was just genuinely interested in the sport and asking for help. Ive been cringing reading some of the replies to you! *Facepalm* Just remember it is hard to stay logical when your brains located next to your asshole. Please don't be put off, most of the people here are really sound! kind, willing to help and generally nice. yeh you get the odd knob but you get that everywhere! We need more girls to ignore the guys who are being dickish, they are just terrified they'll get shown up by a guurl. lol If you were down nearer me I'd suggest a girls night out in the fields! Never let anyone put you down or put you off!
