    Well any of the hw guns are now ruled out, she has been knocking targets over again tonight and says my kt is too heavy, so it won't be one of those (I would have given her that one and bought a full length for myself as I am liking it quite a bit). Think I need to find an ultra to have a look at judging the replies so far. She was hitting bottle tops consistently at 48 yards tonight, so although she is new to the sport, she has an eye for it.

    Well, as you may have seen, I bought a hw100kt recently, yesterday I was having a bit of a zero and the Mrs said she had always fancied trying her hand but never asked as she knew how much I valued my Rapids, long story short I let her have a go with the hw and she really enjoyed it, she was spanking the targets at 35 yards every time. So, I been thinking about getting her something to have a go with (be right handy for her to shoot so when the b*****d squirrels are robbing my walnut/hazelnut trees when I am at work...) but what to get ? So, seeing as so many of you lot seem to own these, how pellet fussy are they, and in .22 flavour what should I be looking to try, seems the bsa barrels are a lot different to these as it hates all the things my beeza's enjoyed

    Yeah, the fit doesn't feel quite right to me yet, seems like it sits too low in the shoulder, may have to see if I can find an adjustable shoulder pad for it to raise it up a bit

    Thanks, it's in .22 and I have been out a couple of times with it, had a few pigeons and a couple of rabbits so far, nothing too serious just yet as I want to tweak a few things and find a good pellet it like first. Been called a twat all my life so feels like home !
