  1. It's from over 3 years ago ! But contact number is on the website, along with the line 2017/18 season is fully booked.
  2. Sturgeon and Canada in general is on my bucket list, would be very interested in the details and rough cost. Looks like they are having a great time, and such a lovely country as well.
  3. Make your own, that's what I done a couple years back
  4. I wouldn't buy another daystate, the last 4 I have known personally have all been crap and had issues, I owned one and that had mega issues, no thank you. Still love my old huntsman regal though, that thing is the most darned accurate gun I've ever owned.
  5. Welcome. If you don't mind a bit of travelling to Bedford..............
  6. After getting a thermal I would use nothing else for spotting
  7. Hi Phil,I wanted exactly the same as you, so I bought the xq38f, I have had it for 2 weeks and used it virtually every night. I have mixed emotions about it, in some ways it's an absolute game changer, but it has drawbacks as well. First thought, its small, I was surprised just how small a unit they are, very impressed. It took a while to suss the menu out, like anything new, but once you work it out then fairly easy to use and change settings on the go. Battery life appears excellent, I've been using mine for two weeks, most every night, an hour or so each time, and still on the
  8. It's in my cabinet I am in bedford
  9. Thanks for the feedback, it's a good rifle no doubt about it.
  10. Had this happen with Ethan one day at the range These teen age lads were there and when Ethan sat down with his struoger 177 open sites they started to take the mick out of him and there was an old guy sitting in the corner and his son in law was going to say some thing to them and i was going to ,,,,well ill not say on an open forum lol any way the old guy just gets hold of the sons arm and say,s sit down iv seen this young lad shoot this rifle target 60mtrs bull first shot then he started to hit spinners out to the same range and pin heads the range just fell silent th
  11. The difference been, IF I decided to do it, it would be on my premises, a farm, and although I couldn't guarantee everyone who came, it would be around shooting people, run by shooting people, not toffs or show offs, sure we have some very nice guns between us, but I couldn't care what folk turned up with provided legal and safe, I've seen some good shooting from old tatty guns, it's the bloke behind that makes the difference. I cannot stand the snobbery I've heard about from clubs. I was thinking more about what would folk want from a range, I have the land to do one, i can provide a
  12. Now I know a lot of you shoot at ranges, and it's never been my thing, but, what makes the difference between a good, bad or average range. Reason for asking, I've been thinking about one at my place, I get a lot of folk asking me why I don't do it, and a good few saying they wish there was one local, although it's not my scene, I do agree we need one around here. Personally, I can't see how they make enough money to stay open, hence seems to be a shortage in my neck of the woods
  13. Came in a deal but surplus to my needs (have 2 r10's already). BSA r10,in .177, tuned and serviced by rat works, with a tench reg fitted in may this year. Paperwork to prove this supplied. Gun is silky smooth cocking, I don't like the heavy trigger but that's easy adjustable, no point me adjusting it to my taste as I'm not keeping it, otherwise the rifle cycles and shoots faultless, have been keeping an eye on the air and it's not budged so no leaks either. In very good condition, nothing wrong with it at all, no marks or dings. Rare to find one that shoots quite this well, th
  14. Ha ha, yes sorry, should have added that's £40 each not the pair
  15. Found two rapid mags in .22, both in perfect working order. £40 posted.
  16. Just been returned from pulsar for a service, paperwork to prove it from Scott and country. £450 plus postage at cost.
  17. Came as part of a deal and I don't need or want it, so it's up for sale. It's been used, it has marks on it but not shocking. I had a play with it today and it shoots well enough and actually gave some reasonable groups at 35 yards. Comes as pictured with Simmons scope, and I have the fill adaptor thing to go with it. Nice little lightweight gun for very little money, do someone a good turn am sure. Am wanting £250 for it collected.
  18. I have both, and honestly, I would be hard pushed to choose which one, they are both factory standard, they both shoot perfectly, they have both required odds and woods, probe orings in the regal, mag orings in the r10, just usual basic stuff. Out to 40 yards they will punch the bull out all day long, longer shots the regal probably maybe just edges it, I think...really is nowt between them, but I have two good ones, took a while to find them but I am well happy. I would maybe choose the regal over the r10 purely on looks for me, it's a personal touch, and my choice, others see it differe
  19. As above, you will regret it, I've had both and the photon was sold on within 10 days of purchase, still have the pulsar though.
  20. Such a waste of life, he seemed a fair sort and took some ribbing like a bloke should, I never knew him but you get a feel from reading things people write, I liked him. Condolences to the family, a terrible time for them, must be going through hell.
  21. What sort of thing you after, I have over a dozen spare from 9cheap n nasty to some tasty bits
  22. They are an accupell if I remember right, and accu always grouped well in all my s10's, after the defiant ogives that I bought in bulk just as they sold out, not many left now
  23. Haven't the new D-Max only got 1900s now? VW only got 2.0 too. All the others are barely bigger than 2.0. Just the way they are these days with emissions targets etc. I'm like you though, anything less than 2.5 just seems too small....... regardless of performance. 2litre but twin turbo, the ranger have a 3.2 in the line up
