  12. So we have proven that hunting is the oldest tradition on the planet and it is the reason that us and every other animal is alive on the planet today, Yet anti's say it is us thats messing with nature????
  13. This topic is baffling me
  14. Just a little daydream where I usually come up with all manner of ridiculous thoughts but I started thinking about old fashioned hunting and have come to the conclusion that we must all share THE oldest tradition on earth. Not just the sport but THE oldest thing except breathing. No matter what you believe about day 1 of humans whether its adam and eve or the big bang or whatever. My point is the first day a human stood on this earth he must have hunted something for food. As far back as we know in history atleast they all hunted for food. Yet we are the minority by sticking to the original wa
  15. Well I have seen this first hand, I am from Liverpool and lived there for 21 years and people are shocked if the find out I own guns, I have now moved out into the lovely shropshire countryside and every man and his dog own a gun whether they shoot or just have an old air rifle in the attic they are everywhere and no one cares because its part of country life. My family are all from Liverpool still and hate it. Last time I went to my sisters the subject came up and in her words Im a 'sick murdering sadistic pig!' I then asked what she wanted from mcdonalds and she said a cheeseburger......you
  16. Most rabbits will kick about and sometimes backflip on impact but as has been said its just nerves
  17. Thats an interesting way to mount the camera. Thanks for that mate
  18. Great story and great dogs, I have staffies and they dont half protect the home, anyone can walk through the door with me and they are fine but I locked my keys out and had to get a ladder and go through the window. I put my head in and they came flying at me growling until they realized it was me. Guess they just know that people who are supposed to be in the flat dont come in through the window. Do your dogs recognize your footsteps? Mine know when its me coming up the stairs, They dont bother with anyone else but when I come up they are running round by the front door
  19. Also I have BTs youview and its not all its cracked up to be, Im going back top sky even though its double the price

  21. correct me if im wrong as well but a HMR has a greater range than a .22lr by a noticeable margarine?
  22. Started sea fishing with my dad and then moved onto course fishing with my mates as a teen. Got offered an air rifle off a mate which I had to keep at his so my mum didnt flip. Always been air rifle hunting since and then had shotguns over the last year. Tried my hand with Lurchers, Ferrets and Hawks and I absolutely love it, I will have a lurcher and a hawk of my own soon Just living in a flat with 3 dogs already so cant have more (two terriers and a small lurcher that are all useless workers but they where bought for pets)
  23. I also own a stoeger x20s and I think its a great little rifle although I thought the standard scope was awful after a bit of use. I do also want the charlie de tuna trigger but cant find a UK stockist, The trigger does get slightly easier to use with time though as you get used to the awful; amount of time it takes to pull. I do love this rifle though and for the money couldnt say another bad word about it. Did you go for synthetic or wood? Also PM sent Lupo
