  1. I didn't say I do it! I said I am new to the sport as I am primarily a shooter. As rake aboot pointed out that what I am talking about is just lamping rabbits with a dog which is legal. I apologise for not being an expert from day one of showing an interest as its quite clear you woke up with full knowledge of every hunting aspect. That's a lucky thing . I wouldn't touch the rspca with a bardge pole
  2. Thanks for your replies, I've just got rid of my ferrets aswell, she is great at recall and will jump too, retrieving she won't play with toys but whenever I bring shot rabbits home she wants them like mad. I'm going to get her on the field this week and get her retrieving a rabbit dummy
  3. I've ordered myself one from amazon last week. I'll let you know how it performs when it comes. 1000 lumens £15 with batteries and charger. I bought it for the rifle and thought £15 compared to most I'm not bothered if its sh*te
  4. I am more of a shooter although I have been coursing with friends dogs already trained. I have a staffie x whippet and I want to try her at coursing. Whenever anything moves her eyes are locked onto it and she tries to chase ground feeding birds. She may not take to it but all I can do is try. She is 18 months old now and fully grown at roughly 19" shoulders. I was just looking for any advice on trying to train her to course rabbits in the lamp. Thanks in advance
