  1. Glad to be of any help my ferrets where chase and nipper
  2. That's exactly what I'd say but my point was that although I don't agree with poaching, the people having a big dig at poachers I'm 100% sure have poached themselves
  3. I completely agree but lawfully it's poaching and also breaking firearms laws about projectiles passing the boundary
  4. In response to a few of the comments on here, I don't support poachers, that's their choice but I think why is that fair when we struggle for permissions putting in time and effort to get a good perm then someone poaches it. However I refuse to accept there isn't a single person on here who hasn't spent a good few mins on a hard long stalk with a rabbit or whatever, got down on the bipod and its hopped to the other side of the fence but still in range. Are you telling me you got up without taking the shot? I took that shot many times and there will be many more!
  5. I've never even seen a revo in the flesh but saw them in a magazine and then asked on here for reviews. I was advised to try a Baikal and I now own two very happily. I am looking for an over and under now which will possibly be another Baikal. The choke question has been answered but cartridge again is a personal choice. I mainly use 6 for birds and 5 for rabbits. I use bb for fox although shooting fox with a shotgun is harder than you think. If you have the hmr I doubt you will bother using the shotgun for fox so I wouldn't bother too much. Obviously you might stumble across one lying in
  6. How about a swap for a .22 tx200hc mk3?
  7. I've decided on garlic and broad beans, does anyone know of any early potatoes?
  8. If anyone is looking for boarding I have a place where dogs will be kept in a home environment. It doesn't matter if the dogs are vaccinated at home and not the vets as there will only be your dogs in the house at one time due to it being a friends small business. 11. For that budget it's definitely going to be spring and you should get a decent second hand rifle but then don't forget a scope can set you back a bit as well. Don't buy cheap as you will regret it but you don't need to splash out either. A budget scope but from a well known make should be okay, hawke is a favourite and I do like Simmons myself. Personally as we'll I won't buy second hand scopes, plenty of people do but I'd just rather not as they can be broken so easily. A bag is a bag really Pellets again don't go for the cheapest most people spend around £10 a tin ( accupell, rws, air arms
  12. Slightly off topic but how many owners stick to the booster annually?
  13. Brilliant! Thats put my mind at rest a lot thank you
  14. If possible as well though I want to make it FAC proof as I will be applying around christmas
  15. Yer that makes sense but just through the wooden floor? I didn't think that would pass? I have three staffies that will be living in it with me and they will be sleeping in the spare room and there will also be an alarm so it will be well protected
  16. That's the exact place I'm choosing, how did you fix it? I have lived in one for a month three years ago. It was November so it was quite cold but I will have a log burner this time so I'm looking forward to it
  17. I am taking the sofas out to just use normal ones so I was going to put it in the cabinet under the bed. I just thought its very unlikely that there will be two chassis bars ready lined up for the bolts
  18. As some of you might have read, I am moving into a static caravan to try and become more self sufficient and reduce these ridiculous utility bills. I want to rely on money less. I have been looking for a while on shotgun security and I have read online quite a lot of people have succeeded in satisfying the feo. I haven't spoken to mine yet as I want to have a clear plan first. The best method I have thought of so far is to lie the cabinet down inside a locker and get a steel plate under the caravan welded to the chassis. Before I weld it I will weld four nuts to the plate and weld it to the
  19. I converted a huge dog crate for a ferret cage for a year and lined it with chicken wire. They never chewed it but for the first few months it was impossible to keep them inside they where always just loose around the flat as they could fit through it with ease
  20. I had a £5k loan and claimed £2k in ppi. It's worth looking at
  21. Another for the mora clipper as was recommended by the lads on here when I posted the same question. Great little knife and I'm 100% happy with the purchase for a tenner. I also have a Whitby locking knife with gut hook but I rarely use it now I have the mora
