    This is not going to "blow over"..........this is the latest in a long succession of organised campaigns against shooting. From what I've managed to glean, 'activists' are flagging individual videos and channels, and also contacting advertisers to complain about the content of the videos their ads appear in. Once the complaints reach a certain level, YouTube issues a 'strike' - 3 strikes and you're out ! Advertisers, concerned about their income, pull their ads.     The other week, I was in the supermarket, and heard the screaming child as soon as I went in.............he was literally screaming at the top of his lungs at his mum, who had clearly refused some indulgence. On and on and on he went, getting more and more hysterical.................... As I went around an aisle, I came across them just as mum had enough, and smacked him on his leg. She saw me, rolled her eyes and said "I suppose you're going to have a go, now ?"........... ..........I said "He's still crying - you didn't hit him hard enough, love."

    In the interests of research, I ran a few Bisley Mags through it yesterday and the poundage dropped to 9.4 which is only a bit more than my Ratcatcher ! When I brought the target in, it looked like a shotgun pattern - disappointing performance really.

    Okay..........I'm up at the club today and someone produces a chrony, so I decide to test my s200 - something I've never bothered to do before. I use AA Diabolo, and they shoot accurately and consistently, BUT I was surprised to find out that it's only pushing out at an average of 10.1 ft/lb !! So........ 1. Can the power be increased without doing anything 'a bit suspect' ? 2. How is it done ? 3. Is it someone of average competence could do themselves ? 4. What would be the merits of gaining an extra ft/lb - and a bit, if any ? If it makes any difference,

    Does anyone know what's actually going on ? I can't see it being a new YouTube policy, as all the channels are showing nothing illegal. Are individual channels being targeted and taken down, once the complaints reach a certain level ?

    I think this is a leftover from Mark Striker's ambulance-chasing lies............and we all know how much MOD money he conned, before he was rumbled ! It's should be a scandal that the word of a disgraced, struck-off, shyster lawyer carries credence over that of a decorated Major in the British army !     Welcome mate ! Plenty of potential in your neck of the woods ! Get yourself out and about, knock on doors, stop and chat to farm workers, join a local club, get yourself beating on a shoot etc etc. Never miss an opportunity - follow everything up, even if it leads nowhere in the end. Get yourself some business cards (tenner for 100) and some shooting insurance (around 30 quid a year !) and dish them out - even when they don't seem interested ! There's a very true maxim in this game - it's not what you know is, it's who you know ! I think business-types call it "networking"........

    Here's my favourite cauliflower idea. Rinse, then take off the outer leaves. Cut the cauli into bit size pieces. Then take all the pieces............. ............chuck them in the bin and cook yourself a nice steak .

    ...........vehicle registration details, the deeds to your house and the deposit of at least two of your children as collateral ! Other than that, it's straightforward and nothing at all to worry about ! I'm joking of course................they don't need vehicle details.
