    I took the Airsporter for a proper outing and test, before our Easter shoot. Sadly no juniors today (Sods Law !), but I got some photos of some of our experienced shooters, putting the old girl through her paces. All were impressed with the smooth cocking cycle and the minimal recoil - it's an absolute joy to shoot. Best comments, however, were about the quality of the restoration - "fabulous" and "brilliant" were used several times !     I hate the type of people who think it's their godgiven right to act like a yob and be generally rude and ill-mannered. If my grandad ever heard someone swear, they'd get the "Do you mind ?     In the absence of rabbits in these parts, my Beddy Whippet regularly chases hares. He never catches them, of course, but it's a good stretch for him, and no harm's done ! I'd never get him swimming - he hates water !

    That was the bit that pricked my ears up, and probably what made this whole thing much clearer to me.........."if you read something online, and you can't see the product, YOU are the product !"     At the bottom line it's a scattergun approach - if the shot pattern is wide enough, you're bound to hit something ! But this 'scandal' seems more subtle - "If we can't persuade someone to change their view and vote a different way, we might be able to dissuade them from voting their usual way"

    Some fella on R2 today was saying that he wanted to watch a live something or other from Cheltenham, so in order to see it, he signed up to FB. He gave them only his name, gender, date of birth and email address - nothing more..........the following day, he had dozens, literally dozens, of emails - people you may know, pages you may like, groups you may be interested in etc etc..............how the f*** do they get that from those very minimal of details ?

    We haven't even got that, mate. I have permission on a large farm near my old house. Nobody can remember the last time they saw a rabbit ! In my new location, me and the dog have covered mile after mile, day after day - nothing ! No beats, no active holes, no signs - nothing !
