    There is no due process involved with these powers. If you have 'unwanted' contact with the police, for any reason, they can access your private information, without having to show a probable cause for doing so. As I see it, if you're arrested for something as innocuous as drunk and disorderly (for instance) every aspect of your digital footprint becomes fair game, even though it probably has nothing to do with the arrestable offence.

    So, should I vote Tory or Labour ? On the other hand, Liberal Democrat sounds a bit like "libertarian", doesn't it ? And since the police have promised not to abuse their powers, I'm sure it will all be tickety-boo................ (But I'm still not looking up !)

    I use the same Samsung Galaxy Ace I've used for 6 or 7 years - never use internet etc on it, unregistered, PAYG - calls and texts only ! Can't beat a good burner phone !

    The police state truly moves ever closer............. I keep saying it - though crime isn't far away ! ("V for Vendetta" was on again last night - "Enemy of the State" is on again this evening ! Someone trying to tell us something ?)

    As already said, strip it and have a tinker ! It's cost you nowt, and you might not need any parts. You'll pass a bit of time, gain some experience and you'll probably learn something ! At the end of it, if it's still a bag of nails, sell the sights and the bag and ditch the rest............ What is there to lose ?

    I've nothing against them - or anyone else for that matter - each to their own, and all that. I just don't see why I have to be forced to accept every weird trend and delusion that can be thought up. And then be abused when I point out that they're not real women - called a nazi, for stating a true and demonstrable fact !
