    The London attacker gained entry to the Parliamentary estate, where he was shot by a member of the Defence Secretary's close protection detail - after he had been held up, by an unarmed police officer, long enough for support to arrive. As far as I know, there were no armed police involved.....

    Both sides were probably outnumbered by police presence, but it's clearly time to take to the streets of Rotherham.......to protest for free education in Canada !     It's going to be interesting to see how this develops and how the recreational legal states respond to federal enforcement. It could end up having an impact on other states moving towards legalising recreational use and the global legalisation movement if we have a US administration hostile towards the idea of legalisation.     Not much rain here, but windy as f***. No trees down, but some fairly large branches lying in the road. Gazebo's gone for a button, but my self-built conservatory is as solid as a rock...(he said, with a gloat !)

    I'm glad the f***er's dead - the real shame is the innocent lives that went with him but, just to clear up a small point.... He was paid an undisclosed sum (thought to be around £1 million !), but it wasn't compensation. It was an out of court settlement, to prevent a trial, that might have meant disclosing sensitive information..... Like I say, don't get me wrong, I hope the c*** burns !
