    Those of us with sisters 'of a certain age' will be very familiar with David Cassidy - for the younger members, he was, in his time, the biggest pop star in the world.     A while back, some woman stepped out in front of our car, totally engrossed in her phone - lucky for her it was in a small car park, so I wasn't moving at any speed, but I still needed to brake sharply...... She never looked up, so I gave her a quick honk (ooh Matron !)......this clearly made her jump, as she started shouting - and suggested, very impolitely I might add, that I should look where I was going !!

    If this is recent events, a policeman is alleged to have raped a male suspect he had arrested...... Disorder kicked off for a day or two, but I think it's all over now. Mainstream carried it at first, but quickly dropped it, in favour of Blair's speech etc.......

    I'm not sure of the current standing, but Wilders had a poll lead for many months, until recently, when it's narrowed considerably. Having said that, Dutch commentators are still putting his chance of winning at around %. His biggest problem may be that he wins the election, but has no overall majority - the simple fact is that no other party will go into coalition with him.
