i be careful what i write here lol make sure my wife gone out lol , but last week a woman prob about in her 40s slim and not bad looking , was walkin down this path in the wood i use, she got had young collie with her. the path was very muddy and the gate that goes across it , had fell at a angle across the path, she couldn't move the gate. so i went up thinking be careful old lad in my mind, me backs fooked as it is lol. well god knows how but i lifted the gate out of the mud, which had been stuck fast, i dragged it to the side of the edge . she said thank very much, you must

Anyone bother ? Do you shower your other half with tokens of your love, or is it just a master-class in consumer marketing ? I always get the good Lady BB a card - even though I rarely get one in return - but I wouldn't pay for a nice meal that costs half the price on any other day ! Valentine's Day - in or out ?

We've got pre-pay meters - they were here when we moved in. Changing times have meant we have to budget more carefully, and these meters help hugely. Definitely wouldn't change them ! We use as little as a tenner a week on leccy and three or four quid a week on gas, during the summer. As far as 'smart' meters are concerned, we all pay for them, whether we've got one or not - energy suppliers absorb profits, consumers absorb costs ! The adverts say that everyone can have one - free of charge......but nothing is free. There is no direct charge for them, but guess who pays in the end ?

Like that Pakistani plane that was escorted to Stansted last week over a "disruptive passenger?" We've heard no more about that. He was a twat who'd had too much to drink......A separate passenger was arrested for fraud - police had been waiting for him at Heathrow.

There IS an organisation called Humane Society International, but the page mentioned doesn't exist, and a simple image search finds no results. The biggest give away to it being a prank is probably the date on the T-shirt......
