    Who the fukc would want to do a stupid thing like that ? People that don't want the boar there. From the footage that i have seen the boar seem to have very large litters, and i could imagine the population getting out of hand without any form of control, but to resort to poisoning, everything is being put at risk, harmless woodland birds, red squirrels, deer etc, not to mention domestic pets ffs

    When you've got bored lads getting dogs for "something to do", is it any wonder the novelty soon wears off, not a big hunter myself, but i'm out in the fields pretty much everyday, and after more than twenty years, i'm yet to feel any hint of boredom or disinterest

    I used to run a first cross he was out of Thorn the same sire as Axel, he was a black dog with a bit of white on toes, tip of tail, and chest i think, but the bitch out of Axel and the first cross bitch was equally black and white, Omanyra says this is to do with the genes, and only happens when you put deer x grey back to deer x grey

    Just like to ask what if any is the biggest problem a cocker can present when out in the field, (heard they can be bad for hunting up too far ahead ?), i am interested in this breed as a working companion for my young lurcher and to take out on long coastal/country walks

    Nuttal was from the clitheroe area saw a few run from his kennels many years ago also andy baron from gisburn bred these approx 90s saw a very good 3/4 cross run a few times.Nuttal from holmes chapel is the terrier breeder i think.
