the fluting on the barrel helps the ridigity of the barrel, it also cool's quicker, and helps cut down on the weight of the barrel if you go for a larger barrel profile.... ATB. Snap.

Well for a few who have been asking heres the final result of my build.... really chuffed with it so far and today printed .261" with one flyer dur to me not cleaning the oil outta the barrel as when i saw a break in the weather i bolted.... it's in .243 win border 24.5 inch archer barrel, trigger stoned and polished, breaking crisp at 1 3/4 lbs. bedded into a mc millian A5 tactical she also has an invisalbe thread cap for the A-TEC that she wears... 1 in 9 twist........ cheers Snap.

my sis saw them last night in dublin ans said they were fooking brill....

buy the beta master from chrony, really good well built bit of kit..... the alpha is cheaper but tended to have difficulty reading the shots a good few times..... the alpha seems to be more light sensitve... Snap.

brain fart on my behalf, i'm fooked with the hayfever and was looking at the wrong data ...... the load is max at 25.3 and lee data always runs hotter than most manuals.... i agree with the below par FPS, and would think it would be around 2800, 2900 .... sorry for the brain fart.......

the load you describe is a hot load by any manual, and around 24g of h335 should give you a velocity in the region of 3200fps...
