  8. they are being housed here and given large sums of money to furnish their homes.... i'm talking 3 or 4 K, digzy i've met plenty travellers and the majority have been excellent and treated me well, but there is always a minority who don't respect anyone oe anything, the romani travellers are thieves from the majority and and said are hated by their own countyfolk..... whereas the romanian's are a hard working, honest people, this is speaking from experience, but as said already its the minority that give everyone the bad name............ treat others how you would like
  9. if the person is strong enough to carry any barrel profile then nothing is to stop him from a longer barrel, albeit a little added weight... On the glass front if you want to stalk with it either s&b or leupold, as the nightforce is poor is low light levels at both dusk and dawn, and before comments fly i've shot with the NF and couldn't see a thing through it for some time in dawn conditions while the leupold was able to make out deer 20 before hand...... the NF is an excellent range scope however when low light levels are not an issue... If foxing and stalking are key
  10. hi mate, if you are looking for an accurate rifle to do both you will sacrifice weight, the rifle of choice would be a sako TRG22 used with a double shoulder sling..... not ideal for hill stalking but will be fine on open field, super accurate too... it is the rifle of choice for many civilian and military units............ Snap.
  11. Not heard much on them mate but what do you intend to do with it, As the str will be a little on the heavy side for stalking or walk up vermin gun.... if targets then yes, if hunting try the shr..... sorry i can't be of more help.

  19. i'd personally put up a large sign saying NOTICE in large writing as a header.... keep it friendly saying that due to health and safety reasons, all dogs MUST be kept controlled while crossing private lands, And that you have no objection to walkers with controlled dogs, however dogs running free may scare animals leading to stampede or injury, of which the owner of the dog will be held to incur all costs For damage or loss to livestock. THANK YOU. land owner. keep it simple and polite, and if no one takes notice look for advice from the authorities
  20. if you look at the rest of the bollards to the left the slabs are lifted as they are concreted in, the one directly behind the van has been bolted to the slab, and the post may come of with a key............ Snap.
  21. Sounds like rust has set in mate, if its a non strippable the only thing to do is spray a little gun oil in and let it dry..... apart from that not much you can do ... if its a t8 like mine you may have comeback form the shop you bought it from as t8 had a few faulty with pin holes showing up in no time at all, Snap.
