after each cut you make, you to the best of your ability, keep a bucket of water beside you while skining the carcass. if in the field just be as carefull as you can handling the skining process and use a qood quality paper towel too pinch the hairs off, using water to clean the carcass will lead to mould growing if not using a cold room, and the carcass should be well dried if you do use water... Snap.

i do shoot the tikka m595 stainless syn. for about 5 years, the action is so good i simply couldn't part with it, So it's getting a re-barrel job done, piller beded, mc millian stock, recessed target crown, and screw cut, In .243 cal. I've been informed the action was very true on inspection, and needed no work... So i'm bloody keeping it.... these actions are been bought up for re-builds and custom work and are fetching good money on the market... The quality of the newer actions is not as good, tikka wise, So hold onto it....

One answer mate........ MONEY plain and simple, i've seen some members of deer society's Who preached ALL they knew and couldn't hit a barn door, and most of what they talked was crap, If you are taught all the things you need to stalk sucessfully, then you will never stray far wrong, be it shot placement, carcas prep, disease inspection and what to look for, skining, and most importantly firearms safety and marksmanship.... If you have these skills then you don't need a bit of paper to tell you you can do them sucessfully.....
