Wood ..more wood ..an then more wood ...every now and then I have a big clear out to make space ........for more wood ....the one piece i picked out of my oak store last week to run through my planer had an old staple embedded in it ..fecked planer blades ...there must be enough oak to build a new barn & the one bit i pick up is crap ...

Pr..ts....not that I've ever felt the need to wear a skirt , I could imagine my old fellows reaction to "dad i'm going to wear a skirt for school today because its very hot" ........he'd have give us hot .on the end of his boot .....what about their mates ?.......there'd rip the piss out of them for the rest of their lives...yep definitely pra.ts.....

Just wondering if you want me to store your guns on the of chance you wont need them again, er.....permissions .....don't want to leave the farmers in trouble..oh .what size boots do you take only its silly me buying a new pair if you don't need yours ...have a great trip ................................weather is flat calm , give that new boat some welly ,.......little free advice when you get out in the solent , go left for 20 min at 25knots , then right...then keep it straight till ...............................................................

We have the first bit of decent weather for what seems like a bloody lifetime & we are on LEVEL 3 heat warning .....where did that come from ??....Who made that up ..? hope this new quango aint been sitting around for the last 10 years waiting to burst into life ....Enjoy the weather it will be pi..ing down & freezing cold soon enough .......Mud keep the lights of the windows open if you still get loads of moths get a pet bat.......

I cashed in the house about 9 years ago , cleared the mortgage , bought a derelict barn in a couple of acres, no neighbours, bought an £800 caravan and lived in that for 6 years ,froze in winter , boiled alive in the summer but enjoyed it .Spent the time working on the place & stalking , wife does her little job , bit by bit its come together but still got some work to do . Had to build workshop etc so I put a coldroom in as well .\Only had the place valued because someone at the south of England show pestered me ...Our plan was to sell up , by a couple of flats , a motor home & do a

My barn is my last job , lived in it for a few years ,been doing it slowly & its nearly done but had it valued last week & the plan could change .Thought I would need it completed to be able to do what I want but was bowled over by the value ! So things might be brought forward a year or so . ..property is on the way up according to the estate agents that came round ...

I normally start in august but only prickets , & then not flat out , just a few early mornings & odd evening in a seat .I like to take the time to see whats about & knock over any foxes that happen by , the guy that runs/keepers the little shoot on the small farm normally invites me out as a thank you which is good. The deer play havoc with his feeders so he's always on the phone elling me were he's seen them .Carcass wise its in the chiller so that's not a problem ...Mid September is when I start in earnest .. -
