    Firstly - I am not a parent, so I can't imagine what the parents of those 2 lads, let alone the parents of James, must have gone through.     Clown Loaches.....if im not wrong they are known to sleep laying down on their side on the substrate .......Had one in a tank years ago went to fish it out thinking it was dead and it swam off ! I must play my music too loud then - none of mine do that !m I feel like a bad owner now, they just want to sleep lol !

    I find that my clown loaches are the most likely to hide, not sure why - have had them before and they were really quite social

    are they like other plecs and sit out in open? Mine do. Half my tank is pretty open, just gravel, the other part is plants and wood - so they have the choice - they spend a lot of time in view though, for plecs
