Rabbits that need to feed will brace it but not too far from their warrens usually. Its the shower blasts that they really don't like, one slight change in their direction and the fur is up and skins getting wet. Heavy pelting rain will have 'em in. Though never all, always one daft bugger didn't feed well enough before and has to face it... Me, as I put on the other post. With the fields local a quagmire, with the wind only making it so much harder on 'em, or heading for the dunes to be sandblasted to a skeleton, I'm staying home tonight, property is worth a damn sight more than poxy bunn

Same as you Malt, lights flickering... 3 miles of open countryside to the coast, winds blowing from west to east. Next doors roof tiles off. Heavy logs holding down the trampoline. Fence is holding on. Too much for a shine, to boggy round here anyway, the wind would make it feel 100 times worse, could get in the motor but don't fancy getting sand blasted on the dunes! Best to stay in, property far more important than bunnys. Just on, NW news said M6 shut both ways.

Frann 100% on the money... Hate it, along with Trick or Treat, Mothers day, Fathers day and Easter... (What the feck is all that about???) and anyone elses day..! Baw, the way all this reads back to me is either you dig 'em out or you pay someone to dig 'em out.... Hedges are feckers, it's taken me a lot of time to get mine under control from when I moved in and to get the garden shaped up I've taken about 30 mature hawthorns out. Leaving many more that have now been cut right back to get order and symmetry for hedges. Looks better each year. Feck all that diesel/salt/poison bollox, it does more harm than good. Simply buy better tools and get yer back into it.

Nail on the head there mate, he knows nothing, never has but he's very good at sensationalising it. It's been a long time coming, round here at least. About three years ago plod were asking lurcher owning kids off the estates what a bull cross was and who or what is Pye. what you wanting to know mate ?? Well, if i'm honest that tri coloured dog, with the foxes, wondered about that, what it was, breeding etc. Though, some tidy animals there, so it was just a question to answer when you have time enough.

hows it hypocritical? the giraffe was fed some bread like it was everyday and then blasted in the head with a bolt gun while it was eating it.....id hardly call that hunting.... How? Give your head a shake mate We kill game to eat, we kill pests to prevent them harming us, we kill livestock to eat, we kill companion animals because we don't want or need them any more.... the difference?
