  1. I always think that a blokes in trackie bottom's are the ones that permanently thrust their hands down the front of them, for a quick game of pocket billiards, even when your mid conversation... And thats never a good look..!
  2. At 46 and i'm proud to say... I don't own a pair of trackie bottoms and ain't for about 20 years..!
  3. Fecking hell Cocker, feelin for you here, you breed a litter as good as that and your plagued by time wasting tossers... I really hope whoever get 'em makes fecking legends out of 'em and those idiots who gave 'em up are around to see it.... Best of luck mate.
  4. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of the band, I must be the only one that got it....! Oh yer, Cordon is a tosser....
  5. Every time I watch this it reminds me of... My childhood, some of you older lot may remember this, check out the streets and housing in the opening scenes..! Even if you don't watch the lot, put the first few mins on, to see city life in the 1970's. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1HTXxF02ng
  6. I grew up a city kid, Anfield, Liverpool 4, it don't get much 'inner' than that BUT back then every family enjoyed days out, it was a big deal come summer, some may have a weekend away, in a tent or caravan, luxury...! We were luckier than most, my Great Aunt had a caravan up the coast in Formby and me Mam changed her job from factory work in Jacobs biscuits to school dinners, so that we could spend all our holidays there. During the holidays me Dad still worked (he was never off!) but would spend summer evenings on the beach or the pine woods... It was magical..! True some kids never left t
  7. I'd love one of those and one day, I'll get me one and do exactly the same. Be party central in our house then...!
  8. OMG Stig... You remembered....!! And what a great collection of music you've put on there too....
  9. Aye mate, worth a try. You need to stick to that though, I know folk that's been smoking them for 2 years now and don't like they are going to give up any time soon lol people do not realise theres 2 distinct things to giving up smoking 1 is the nicotine addiction and 2 is the habit, i still smoke the ecig at the back door So did I... And thats really the point, because you really need to feel that nothing has changed, nothing is difficult... The best bit about packing in.... No not getting your taste buds back, lungs better, even the cost.... No, its time, you really wont be
  10. Do you know what I see mate, when I smoke a fag, I smoke it, don't have another for say 20/30 minutes. Folk with ecigs seem to have them stuck to there face constantly taking in far more addictive nicotine. If your gonna do it, do it like your smoking a fag, 5 mins puffing away then hide the f*****g thing for half an hour. After a few weeks widen the gap to an hour etc. then after a few months come down a strength and start over again. That's the only way I see it working without becoming an ecig addict. Spot on mate, nothing looks worse than some helmet with one of those pouch things rou

  12. Paul, Baw is right... I packed up smoking with the use of an ecig last March BUT I was very mindful of the ecig and when I knew, after a few weeks, I didn't need to smoke any more, i made damn sure I took the next step and eased off the ecig after another two weeks.... Job done..! Stick with it but don't become an ecig addict either.
  13. One day, before i'm too old to do a good dog justice, I want to own and work the bollox off a well bred Bedlington/Greyhound...
  14. Thing is though.... Does it, to the rest of us, really matter..? The only thing 'I' would be interested in, with Fell huntsmen, is if they are alright with you and, even though you've rang for your invitation (which was granted) and behave impeccably, they at least have the decency to even look at you with something above contempt... Few ever have, fewer still have ever given the time of day... Edmund Porter being the only one to take time out to talk and more. Feck me, this ain't the fecking Apprentice tv show, this ain't the next governor of the Bank Of England, it ain't even in co
  15. Hear hear... This is the most cryptic thred since that Blackwater lurcher shite.... Now, someone's not popular and someone is and for someone who ain't been up the Lakes to hunt for far to long but unfortunately found most (but not all!) Fell huntsmen to be arrogant, verging on damn right rude to any outsiders (particularly those with a rather strong scouse accent!), feck all that cloak and dagger stuff, get to the point, or it'll be a damn sight longer before I tread the fells to hunt again....
  16. Different people, different ways but unless I can graft it or eat it... Feck that 'pet' malarkey, I'd rather make it easier on myself come holiday time....
  17. As well as the workers... Only had a goldfish (off the fair) and a mule hen (unwanted) both are dead now and unless my daughter looks after it, then nothing else apart from sommat I can graft comes here. I would like to keep critters I can eat (pref pigs) sometime in my life but not now.
  18. Fecking hell Cocker, thats practically a giveaway for a dog with such lineage, beauty of a puppy too. Such animals are a rarity, on here, other breeders should take note... I hope that pup finds a great working home. Best of luck with the sale.
